Man appears in court on terror charges in Edinburgh

A man has appeared in court charged under the Terrorism Act after a tower block was evacuated.
Fidra Court, in the Muirhouse area of Edinburgh, was evacuated on Friday night.
Faris Alkhori, 61, was charged under the Terrorism Act 2006 and the Explosive Substances Act 1883 when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
