Postcard Records label celebrates its 35th birthday

It was the ultimate bedroom record label - set up by two friends, with the paperwork kept in a sock drawer.

But Postcard Records went on to launch the careers of Orange Juice and Aztec Camera, along with a generation of Scottish indie bands.

Now, 35 years on, Simon Goddard has published a new book, Simply Thrilled: The Preposterous Story of Postcard Records, about the era.
