Clothing is one of the basics of life - it keeps us warm and comfortable and plays a crucial role in forming the identity we present to the world .

The collapse of a Bangladeshi garment factory in 2012 highlighted the risks associated with cheap fashion.

So are we guilty of waste by spending too much on clothing - and buying things we do not actually need?

There is a drive to get us to be more ethical when it comes to buying clothes - and it involves spending less and recycling more.
