Bikers and woman killed in south and west Wales crashes

Two motorcyclists and a car passenger have died in separate crashes in south and west Wales.

Police said a biker died after a collision with a lorry on the A487 in Pembrokeshire on Friday afternoon.

Earlier another man died when his motorbike was in a crash with a parked vehicle in Neath.

And a woman passenger has died in hospital after the car she was in collided with parked cars in Swansea on Thursday night.

In the latest collision, on the A487 Felindre Farchog to Cardigan road in Pembrokeshire at about 13:40 BST on Friday, the male rider died at the scene.

The road was closed in both directions and diversions put in place, a spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said.

The other motorcyclist - a 27-year-old man - died after a collision while riding in Cadoxton Terrace in the direction of Neath town centre at about 02:00 BST on Friday.

South Wales Police are appealing for anyone with information to call 101.

The 21-year-old woman died in hospital after she was injured in a crash on Langdon Road in Swansea at 22:24 BST on Thursday.

She was a passenger in a black Honda Civic that hit parked cars, officers said.

The car driver, also 21, has been arrested and is assisting officers with their inquiries.
