1. It's kittens. They can also be referred to as pups or kits. A dray is the collective word for a group of squirrels.
2. It's the cup of tea. Physicist John Mainstone devoted 50 years to the experiment. But he missed all three drops during his custodianship - the last time by popping out for five minutes to make a cup of tea.
3. It's saying "darling". The training video told locals to avoid "love", "darling" and "mate". It explained: "They may sound friendly to you, but they could offend some people."
4. It's the Beatles song. A clip of him singing Hey Jude in his office was put on YouTube captioned: "The song selection is not random :) All will become clear on Tuesday." It turned out to be the soundtrack to his party political broadcast.
5. It's packaging. Both malt ball products are sold in red packets. Hershey has owned Malteser since 1998. Mars has sold its 75-year-old Maltesers brand in red since 1978, although it has never registered a trademark.
6. It's Jon Snow. The Channel Four news anchor says he hasn't watched the show but is aware of his namesake. "It has been arranged for me to interview him soon," he told a newspaper.
7. It's quacks. The noise - nicknamed "the bio-duck" - can be heard during winter and spring in the Southern Ocean. Acoustic recorders have discovered that the sound is the underwater chatter of the Antarctic minke whale.
