President Obama and First Lady welcome Halloween guests to White House

US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have welcomed some special guests to the White House for a trick-or-treat Halloween celebration.

Those invited included more than 4,500 local children and the children of military families.

Mrs Obama joined the president in handing out treats such as special White House Hershey Kisses, jelly beans and cookies.
