Illegal off-roading is 'disaster for habitats' in Wales

Illegal off-roading on mountain ranges across Denbighshire is damaging protected wildlife habitats, Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has said.

The agency's protected sites manager Nick Thomas said illegal trespassing by 4x4 drivers was damaging farmland and disturbing rare birds nests across the Berwyn, Ruabon and Llantysilio mountains.

He warned those responsible could face prosecution if caught.
