Hawick man in court on rape charge

A Hawick man has appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court accused of rape.
Remo Nardini, 55, faces two charges under Section One of the Sexual Offences Scotland Act.
He is also accused of two counts of sexual assault and another charge of sexual exposure.
He made no plea or declaration and the case was continued for further examination. He was released on bail by Sheriff Derrick McIntyre.
