Teenage boy dies in road crash in Roscrea, County Tipperary

A teenage boy has died in road accident in Roscrea, County Tipperary.
The 18-year-old was travelling in a car with a 16-year-old passenger when their car hit a wall on the Birr Road around 01:55 BST on Monday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene; the other boy was seriously injured in the crash. He is being treated at Limerick Regional Hospital.
Gardaí have closed the road and have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them.
