De Oldebroekerweg heeft een metamorfose ondergaan. Er is een extra rotonde aangelegd om het nieuwe uitbreidingsplan goed bereikbaar te maken vanuit het dorp. Ook het boscomplex bij de volkstuinen wordt opgewaardeerd met Europese subsidie. In feite is het helemaal gekapt en wordt het opnieuw aangelegd.
