    The Archery World Cup Final in Dubai proved a gigantic success and crowned four new World Cup Winners! The Live coverage of the competition was broadcast by eleven TV channels: AESHOW: Showtime, Dubai, Pan Arab; CNCCTV: CCTV, China; FREUSP: Eurosport 2, Pan Europe; INZESP: Zee Sports, India; ITRAI: RAI (Sports Sat), Italy; KRKBSN: KBS-N, (cable), Korea; RURTR: Sports, Russia; SAART: ART Arab, Pan Arab; TRTRT: TRT Turkey; UAPOVE: Powerkhnost, Ukraine; USESPN: ESPN 360, (IP TV), USA. Dola Banerjee from India took the World Cup Title in the Recurve Women division. She beat the Korean Choi Eun Young in a very tight and exciting match on a 70-meter floating platform at the Madinat Jumeirah Souk venue. In Men Recurve the best archer of the season, Russian Baljinima Tsyrempilov took the win over young, promising Mexican Juan Rene Serrano. In the Compound category, a pregnant lady, Petra Ericsson of Sweden won the World Cup title in the women’s side, while Salvadorian star Jorge Jimenez clinched victory in the men’s competition. It is to be noted that the three first places in Compound Men are from the Americas: El Salvador (Jorge Jimenez), USA (Braden Gellenthien) and Brazil (Roberval Dos Santos). The Americas also won a silver medal in Recurve Men with Juan Rene Serrano. More information on www.archeryworldcup.org.
