BODEMLOOS

De onfeilbare 'Jan Weetal' kom je tegen in alle maten en gewichten en in alle rangen en standen. Je kunt er niet mee praten. Je mag alleen maar luisteren. Hooguit 'amen zeggen'. Hij zit meestal vol verborgen dictatoriale neigingen en wil iedereen en alles onder zijn gezag.

Hij gaat honderduit. Hij is een babbelaar. Een betweter. Hij discussieert en argumenteert. Onderbreek je hem, overtroeft hij je. Hij wil dat je naar hem luistert zolang hij praat. Hij weet zich immers het middelpunt. Hij hoort zichzelf  zo graag. Het enige wat hij zoekt, is zijn gelijk.

Hij lijdt er onder dat anderen niet geloven dat hij het allemaal weet.

HET GROTE GELIJK

Dat heeft hij nodig. Hij wil 'iemand' zijn. Daar zit zijn pijn. Niets zal hem stoppen. Het is sterker dan hem zelf. Hij ziet de anderen niet. Hij hoort ze niet. Hij luistert niet. Hij maakt ze doof. Hij vermoeit ook zo.

Ze laten hem dan maar. Met zichzelf. Alleen. Met zijn pijn. Nog uitvergroot.

Samenleven kan maar als ieder zichzelf relativeert, de andere erkent en waardeert in zijn denken en zijn spreken. Het gaat fundamenteel om respect om het anderszijn van de ander.
