Ik dacht dat blondjes, in de volksmond, alleen maar dom waren, je ziet maar....

Dokter tegen patiënte: "Enkel seks met mij kan uw pijnlijke onderrug genezen"

Een Amerikaanse arts is erin geslaagd een vrouwelijke patiënte wijs te maken dat enkel seks met hem de pijn in haar onderrug zou laten verdwijnen. Pas toen de pijnscheuten in de rug na deze uitzonderlijke medische behandeling bleven aanhouden, besefte de vrouw dat er iets niet pluis was. Daarop sleepte ze Randall Smith voor de rechtbank en eiste ze van hem en zijn kliniek een schadevergoeding van maar liefst 3,3 miljoen euro.

60 dagen gevangenisstraf
Nadat de feiten bekend werden, moest de dokter zijn beroepsvergunning inleveren en werd hij veroordeeld tot 60 dagen gevangenisstraf. "Smith was op het moment van de feiten 50 jaar. Zijn medische behandeling hield enkel en alleen geslachtsgemeenschap in. Volgens hem was de seksuele handeling nodig om de soms extreme pijn in mijn onderrug te verlichten", verklaarde de ex-patiënte vorige vrijdag in de rechtszaal. Smith staat er terecht voor aanranding, plichtsverzaking en het bewust uitbuiten van emotionele nood.

Smith zelf was niet bereikbaar voor commentaar. Hoewel hij toegaf dat hij de vrouw in het ootje nam, blijft hij volhouden dat de seks met wederzijdse toestemming gebeurde.
