Hallo bloggertjes,

Dat tatoeages 'in' zijn weten wij allemaal, maar dat zij gevaarlijk zijn voor onze gezondheid weten we allemaal niet......Ik vind dat ouders hun kinderen, en grootouders hun kleinkinderen daar op zouden moeten wijzen, hoe gevaarlijk tatoeages wel zijn.

PROBLEMEN TATOEAGES  TE WIJTEN AAN INKT

"De inkt die voor tatoes wordt gebruikt, is wellicht verantwoordelijk voor schadelijke neveneffecten. Naarmate tatoeages populairder worden, neemt ook het aantal klachten toe. Zo worden vaak allergische reacties gemeld en voelen sommige mensen een brandend gevoel wanneer ze onder de MRI-scanner moeten. Er zijn gevallen bekend van inkten die zich naar andere weefsels in het lichaam, zoals de longen, verplaatsen. Ook het verwijderen van de tekeningen verloopt niet altijd even efficiënt en pijnloos.
Uit nieuw onderzoek blijkt dat de chemische samenstelling van de inkt wellicht aan de basis  van deze problemen ligt. Zo bevatten bepaalde inktsoorten sporen van metalen. Volgens de onderzoekers worden de bij tatoes gebruikte inkten te weinig gecontroleerd, ook al zijn ze net als cosmetica en kleurstoffen onderworpen aan strenge voorschriften, bv. van de US Food and Drug Administration. Ze pleiten voor een strenger toezicht op de inktindustrie."
