Spijtig mocht de pret niet lan duren...

Duitse kinderen delen 15.000 euro uit aan schoolvriendjes

Vier kinderen in Duitsland vonden er niets beters dan de 15.000 euro die ze op weg naar school in een envelop gevonden hadden, uit te delen op de speelplaats van hun school in Frankfurt am Main.
 
Opnieuw inzamelen
"Na een tijdje vroeg een van de kinderen zich af of die plotse gulheid wel normaal was en een leerkracht werd erbij gehaald", vertelt een politiewoordvoerder. Daarop moesten de schoolkinderen het geld uit hun zakken halen en werd de vondst opnieuw ingezameld.
 
Aanvankelijk werd 12.000 euro terug opgehaald, maar nadat eventjes ingepraat werd op het geweten van de schoolkinderen, werd uiteindelijk 14.040 euro gerecupereerd.
 
Reis naar China
In de bruine envelop die de kinderen, die tussen tien en dertien jaar oud zijn, opgepikt hadden, zaten ook kopieën van identiteitspapieren en een Chinees visum van een 33-jarige Afghaan uit Offenbach. Die kon uiteindelijk gecontacteerd worden. Hij verklaarde inderdaad vijftienduizend euro verloren te hebben de dag voordien. Dat geld was bedoeld voor een reis naar China.
 
Of de scholieren hun vindersloon krijgen, is volgens een politiewoordvoerder echter nog niet duidelijk omdat ze niet onmiddellijk naar de politie zijn gestapt met hun gevonden buit. (dpa/ka)
