Oh July,
So well I do understand you. In Holland I have a column ´question and answer´ for youngsters from 15 - 25 and regularly they ask the same things as you do: - I want to make friends amongst good and steady Christians - I want to get firm advices, how to live as a Christian - I want to make good decisions. totally fed up as I am with all the bad decisions up to now - I want to be less rebellious - I want to make less mistakes - I am so lonely in surroundings of people who do understand nothing of the things of the Lord. I want to have friends in Christ.
Now July; this is the place for you. I am 84 ... - and I have many friends who have a steady life in Christ, also on this forum. I learn much from them - I have given 3000 advices and had a 100.000 inpuits in Holland - I have made many unnice decisions in my life, but the Lord has recovered most of the wounds I have given to other people - as being 84 I am no longer rebellious, but the Lord has made me wiser. It is all HIS grace - A Christian can feel lonely and uncomprehended in this world. But in prayer and in contact with other Christians you are no longer lonely.
And we- on this forum- are there for your precious soul to give advices, so that you can say: "The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn shining ever brighter till the full light of day". (Proverbs 4 v 18).
