Today it was my lucky day. Walking home from the local supermarket , with a bag loaded wth food. I came alongside a pile of rubish. My eyes catched something like a wooden box. Getting closer I recognized it was an old radio. After a quick investigation it turned out to be a 70 years old Marconi-435TC. By a temperature of 25 degrees C. I carried both, the set and my foodsupply back home.(heavy) But it is worth the trouble ( hi) The cabinet needs a lot of restoration and some electronic parts are missing. But thats no problem. We will fix it at a rainy day.
E-12 is the most common resistor range , with 4 bands for the value. But there are resistors (E-24 series) in which case 4 bands are not enough. We use the first 3 bands for the value , the 4th as multiplier and the 5th for the tolerance.
