SHOCK CLAIM: 'Secret military base discovered after fresh UFO activity near Roswell'
UFO investigators are investigating claims a secret US military base has been discovered near UFO mecca Roswell in New Mexico.
A long-standing conspiracy theory claims the US military has secret bases for testing new craft.
The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) has received a report from an unnamed witness that they have discovered the existence of the base after witnessing bizarre UFO activity nearby.
The witness yesterday provided MUFON with video of an alleged UFO filmed on December 5, but said odd events had been happening for a month in Highland Meadows, Laguna, which is around 100 miles from the infamous Roswell.
He said: "I was on my porch looking at the night sky about a month ago, when I noticed an out of place light in the sky pretending to be a planet. I knew it was not, as it is way too close for one, and I looked at the charts and it isn't supposed to be there.

The Roswell legend is at the centre of the UFO scene.
Then it disappeared and six military helicopters suddenly appeared over the hill around where the light was and appeared to be circling.

"On December 5th, I went out with my dog, and as usual, looked up at it, but this time, it was not as bright and was dancing or hovering in the sky.
"It was doing what I call, a jig, back and forth, up and down, ever so slightly, maybe by my sight in half inch movements, almost like it was trying to stay in one place but didn't have full control.
"I was in awe and freaked out a bit as I knew it wasn't normal to begin with.
"It seemed to have three separate lights attached to it like a triangle but in a circle. I tried to record the event, but after 3mins 38secs my video suddenly shut off and could not get it back on."
The woman said she watched for a further 45 minutes.
She added: "Then it disappeared and six military helicopters suddenly appeared over the hill around where the light was and appeared to be circling. I went inside out of fear.
"We have a lot of military activity lately and they have seen me take photos of them.
"I've also taken photos over the weeks of this light. I really don't know what I saw, but I saw something and I'm not crazy."
MUFON, based in the US, is the world's largest organisation dedicated to UFO and alien research.
It admits that a high percentage of sightings it receives are misunderstood or deliberate hoaxes, but it investigates as many as possible.
Roswell has been at the heart of the UFO scene since in July 1947 the military sensationally announced in a press release it had found the remains of a crashed flying saucer in the desert nearby.
But the following day it retracted the statement, saying it was in fact a damaged US Air Force air balloon.
Witnesses later came forward to say there had been alien bodies within the "crashed craft", which along with the wreckage were then taken away.
It has often been claimed by conspiracy theorists they are held at the mysterious top-secret Area 51 military base in Nevada.
Resident in a Chinese village were left baffled after an unknown object had apparently fallen from the sky and left a big hole on the ground.
They said the object landed on the top of the mountain with a loud bang on December 12 in Zhangjiapan village, Shaanxi Province, reported People's Daily Online.
The crater was burning when some residents rushed over but mysteriously no object was reportedly found in the hole. Some people have linked the incident with a UFO.

The crater reportedly measured one metre long (3.2 feet) and 50 centimetres wide (1.6 feet).
The police of Fugu county, which manages the village, said they had found objects that might be related to the incident in three locations, according to HSW.cn.
All of the locations were in the south-western part of Fugu county.
Among them, one was a large metal ring, said the police. Letters and numbers could be seen marked on the surface.
The ring is thought to have fallen at high speeds and crashed into the rooftop of a house.
The police said all the objects had been sent to experts for tests.
No injuries have been reported.

QQ.com posted a video on December 13, which was thought to be taken by an eyewitness.
The clip shows fire burning in the crater, however no solid object can be seen in the crater.
A villager, surnamed Zhang, told a reporter of HSW.cn that he heard a deep sound in the sky at around 1pm on Friday.
He looked up and saw an object rapidly falling towards the mountain, the villager said.
'[It] made a loud bang when it hit the ground. Then it started burning. The dry grass nearby was quickly set aflame,' Zhang added.

The mysterious incident has attracted thousands of comments from Chinese netizens on QQ.com, a major portal in China.
Many are guessing what the object could be, with some suggesting it could be a part of a UFO.
'It must have fallen from a crashed alien spacecraft,' one such person wrote while another one said 'the ring looks like the door of a UFO cabin'.
'It must have been the wheel of an alien's vehicle,' another user suggested.
A web user asked: 'Are they parts of Shenzhou 11 spacecraft?'
'It probably came from a failed time-traveller,' another user commented.
A fourth user, apparently terrified by the incident, said: 'I will look to the sky while I am walking.'
The fire has been put out by the villagers.
The incident is being investigated by the police.

A VIDEO allegedly showing a UFO arriving to Earth through a "plasma beam" has sparked a major online debate about what it actually could be.
Clips of the event which happened over Arizona, Texas, have gone viral and been picked up by various UFO websites and YouTube channels.
Many alien chasers claimed it showed an extraterrestrial spacecraft being zapped to Earth in a plasma beam through some sort of portal from another dimension.
But, the overwhelming verdict is that it was just a CGI fake video broadcast to raise cash through YouTube advertising revenue.
There is no detail about when it was actually filmed or who by, but it appears to have surfaced on a Spanish Facebook page.
Scott Brando runs UFO hoax-busting website ufoofinterest.org and has concluded categorically it was a hoax.

He tweeted his verdict and told Express.co.uk: "Yes, it's a fake CGI. There are previous sharings about the same video being fake."
Veder Georgiev posted on YouTube: "Sorry 100 per cent fake.
"Just see the clouds. They don't become brighter after the lighting/plasma.
"Just seen a video of normal lighting and see the clouds near them. FAKE."
Even Tyler Glockner, the narrator of YouTube UFO channel Secureteam10, which features on a number of UFO blacklists amid claims it promotes fake and misleading footage, suggested it was probably a clever fake.
Mr Glockner denies promoting hoaxes, but has not responded to Express.co.uk questions about these claims.
But the consensus has not stopped others believing some historic evidence of aliens was caught on camera.
Ari Ben Gordon posted on YouTube: "WOW - That is as real as it gets.
"It almost looks like a meteorite, but its not falling, its going up!
"Did you notice that the cloud the UFO comes from looks like a giant disk cloud?"
There was also speculation it was evidence of an alleged secret US Government plot called Project Bluebeam.
Project Blue Beam is a conspiracy theory that claims the US is attempting to implement a new religion led by the Antichrist to start a New World Order.
The far-fetched claim is that the government will use NASA to develop hologram technologically to create a fake Second Coming to begin its evil plan.
Many of the videos on YouTube were entitled "Giant Plasma UFO Over Arizona Secret Hologram Test".

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Early Wednesday many of you reached out to KREM 2 News wondering what an odd sound was that woke many up in Spokane Valley overnight.
Was it a UFO? Some kind of train? A whale, as some of us joked? Not quite. It turns out the sound was coming from road graders that were plowing snow and ice at the Valley Mall.
It looked and sounded like some kind of hokey setup shot to a movie about alien invaders or monsters.
Robin Clayton wrote to us “Sounded like a tuba playing on a loud speaker.”
Julie Queszada said “Maybe a yeti??”
Lynsey Betz kept it simple, “it’s aliens, people.”
The answer though, lies in the temperatures. We asked our own Briana Bermensolo to help us crack the case.
“It really all comes down to how sound moves through the air, through the molecules, and the temperature of the air,” she said. “Is the air hot, or is it cold?”
Bermensolo said that is why we were hearing the weird sound.
Here is another explanation. Normally, when it is not this cold out, sound waves will travel faster and bend upwards from hot air on the ground.
When it is really cold though, it is the opposite. The layer of cooler air is closer to the ground and warmer air is covering it from above. As the sound waves travel upwards, they are bent by the warm air and directed back towards the ground. The difference in temperature causes this.
So thus, sound seems to travel further on colder days and you could be hearing all kinds of sounds from a distance.

BELIEVING in alien life is scientifically acceptable but saying little green men visit Earth is one small step too far for many humans.
Pennant Hills residents Mick Turner and Kathryn Hand believe we have had visitors and are organising a party in Byron Bay to celebrate all things ET — the Close Encounters Conference — on January 15 and 16.
“It’s still a taboo subject. But people should be able to talk about it openly,” Mr Turner said.
“There is a UFO sighting reported every six minutes,” Ms Hand said. “People want to talk about sightings and their beliefs.”
According to a witness, a UFO emerged from the sea near Maslin Beach, South Australia, March 1993 and he managed to photograph his alleged encounter.At 11am on June 13, 2005 John Walton says he saw object hovering for a few minutes above Creek Rd and snapped this picture.
Ms Hand was an executive PA at Westpac Bank until she was 40, when she decided to follow her passion for the metaphysical and quit her job to become a past-life regression hypnotherapist.
“Although we are having a bit of fun dressing up, we do take the subject very seriously,” Ms Hand said.

“I’m interested in knowing about the consciousness that exists on other planets and how they interact with us on earth.
“I don’t expect everyone else to take on my point of view but I want people to be comfortable to talk about it.
“I’m not a nuts and bolter, I’m coming at it from a consciousness point of view.”

Australian Skeptics spokesman Tim Mendham said he’s “disappointed” there was still no credible evidence for aliens visiting earth.

“There are a lot of claims but no evidence that you can rely on,” Mr Mendham said. “Obviously it’s mostly a hobby interest and is fraught with frauds and fakes.
“Skeptics have no problem with the concept of life elsewhere in the universe, which is scientifically established.
“It’s not about that, it’s about (evidence of) beings visiting earth.”
A CSIRO spokesman contacted by the Advocate said there was no evidence “as yet” of interstellar visitation.
The Close Encounters conference keynote speakers are: Mary Rodwell — Founder of Australian Close Encounter Resource Network, Dr Bob Davis (USA) — neuroscientist / author; and Rosemary Ellen Guiley (USA) — researcher / author on paranormal subjects.
The chances of alien life being capable of growing in the same soil is nearly 100%. Safe for us to eat, also nearly 100%.
Every nutrient that autotrophs need are achiral—they aren’t “handed.” Things like ammonia, water, carbon dioxide. These chemicals would be the building blocks of life on many worlds, and they are the same everywhere. If an alien world had plants, chances are they’d do fine in our dirt. Our atmosphere might not have the correct ratio of gases, and our sun might not spit out the correct spectrum of light for optimal growth, but chances are there would be some creatures that could survive here.
Now, could we eat them? Sure! But remember, we can also eat sand. That doesn’t make it nutritive. The odds that we would be able to extract nutritional value from the food is far closer to 0% than 100%. There’s a nearly infinite array of molecules that alien beings might use to store energy, build body structures, etc. Nearly all of those would be completely indigestible by humans.
So, could you eat an alien plant? Sure. Would you starve to death anyway? Probably. Might it make you sick? Possibly. Could it grow here? Probably.
The same is true in reverse, by the way—alien animals would almost certainly be incapable of digesting Earth plants and animals.

A Nevada witness at Reno reported watching a silent, triangle-shaped UFO moving “moderately fast” with lights along two edges, according to testimony in Case 80764 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside on his driveway unloading a Christmas tree at 6:50 p.m. on December 2, 2016, with two children when the incident occurred.
“My son was looking up at the sky and said,‘Hey guys, look up. Do you see that?’the witness stated. “He pointed it out as it was directly above us. Both means my daughter saw it. My son said he thought it was an airplane or he was just hallucinating, but after we all saw it we knew it was something else because it made no noise whatsoever and was shaped nothing like an airplane.”

The witness described the object.
“It was moving in a pretty straight line towards the northwest and the Sierra mountains. The thing itself made no noise at all and appeared to be going moderately fast. The object itself was shaped almost exactly like the ‘Phoenix Lights’ in Arizona. It was very triangular; two edges came together and had lights going up the edges. Only two sides had lights, but you could see the outline of the back of it. The UFO looked big. Probably 400 feet. We were in honest disbelief afterwards. We went on the Internet to search for any stories, but didn’t find any. We then came here. It just flew out of our sight. It didn’t disappear or anything special.”
Nevada MUFON Assistant State Director Sandra Countiss investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown.

“The object was triangular-shaped, but marked boomerang shape on the form,” Countiss wrote in her report.“It cast a light, hovered as it went across the sky, appeared solid and had an outline, and was glowing. The witnesses said it was triangular-shaped. The size in the distance was about the size of a golf ball and its actual size appeared to be between 100 to 300 feet. It had white exterior lights, a black surface with unwavering lights on the exterior. There were no emissions and no sounds. The surface was dark and it glowed, structure was unknown. A helicopter was also seen in this area after the sighting. The triangular black object was about 90-degrees above the horizon when nearest to witnesses. The lowest altitude appeared to be about 500 feet. Distance from witness was unknown. The flight path was a straight line going from northwest. The area is suburban. There were three witnesses. From weather history from Reno, NV, it was an average temperature of 31 degrees, no precipitation, wind was east at 4 mph, gusting to 14 mph. Visibility was 10 miles.The craft had a black body which was big enough to block out the stars. It was a clear, cold night and visibility was unlimited. The outer parts extended farther than the lights did, flying northwest silently, hundreds of feet in size. By the time they got their cameras out and ready, it was gone.”

Overal ter wereld horen mensen vreemde geluiden en laat een vreemde vibratie de aarde galmen als een kerkklok.
Vorige week donderdag vonden er een paar krachtige aardbevingen plaats, zoals die met een kracht van 7.8 bij de Salomonseilanden en een van 6.5 voor de kust van Californië.
De seismografen registreerden dit uiteraard, maar meer dan 8 uur na de aardbevingen sloegen deze nog steeds uit alsof de aarde aan het nagalmen was. Nu kan dit na een aardbeving misschien nog worden verklaard, maar wat niet verklaard kan worden, is dat uren voor de beving bij de Salomonseilanden de seismografen wereldwijd een soort vreemde vibratie registreerden.
Op de kaarten van de seismografen zag het eruit als een aardbeving, maar in werkelijkheid was daar geen sprake van. En toch was dit vreemde beeld te zien niet alleen op seismografen in Amerika, maar over de hele wereld.
De vraag die dan op komt, is dan ook, waarom schudt onze planeet opeens zo heftig?
De afgelopen maanden waren er talloze en aanzienlijke aardbevingen in de zogenaamde Ring of Fire.
Experts hebben geen antwoorden op dit plotselinge schudden. In de mainstream-media wordt oorverdovend gezwegen over de vreemde vibraties.
Dezelfde maker van bovenstaande video, maakte er één eerder op 1 december en wees er toen op dat seismografen wereldwijd een soort verstoring lieten zien. Het lijkt erop alsof het binnenste van de aarde onrustig wordt.
De maker van de video maakt met behulp van kaarten en grafieken duidelijk dat er iets bijzonders gaande is met onze planeet en dat mensen wereldwijd bepaalde vibraties voelen die rechtstreeks van de kern van de aarde schijnen te komen.
Bovengenoemde aardbevingen zijn natuurlijk niet de enige die de afgelopen tijd de Ring of Fire hebben doen schudden. Experts weten niet waar die plotselinge toename aan ligt, maar waarschuwen dat de Amerikaanse westkust waarschijnlijk eerder vroeg dan laat zal kennismaken met The Big One.
Omdat de afgelopen decennia dingen nogal rustig zijn geweest in Californië voor wat betreft aardbevingen, geloven de mensen het wel. Er is natuurlijk al jaren gesproken over The Big One en tot nu toe is die niet gekomen en dus geloven veel mensen dat die nooit gaat komen. Tenminste niet gedurende de tijd dat zij op aarde rondwandelen.
De koude harde feiten laten echter een ander verhaal zien. Volgens topexperts op dat gebied heeft het al veel te lang geduurd voordat de beruchte San Andreasbreuklijn een aardbeving van historische omvang zal voortbrengen. Het is daar te lang rustig geweest en volgens experts kan dit ieder moment omslaan.
De tektonische platen van de aarde schijnen ook steeds meer in beweging te komen en op sommige plaatsen zelfs af te breken. Op het onderstaande kaartje zie je de situatie voor de kust van Californië.
Je ziet daar dat er twee van die platen langs elkaar schuiven. Hierdoor ontstaat volgens wetenschappers ooit de situatie dat Los Angeles naast San Francisco zal liggen. Dit soort bewegingen vindt plaats langs de San Andreas breuklijn.
Dan is er voor de kust daar ook nog een gebied waar de dunnere tektonische plaat van de oceaan onder die van het continent duikt. Men noemt dit de Cascadia Subduction Zone.
Hoewel minder bekend dan de San Andreas breuklijn, denken wetenschappers dat dit gebied de “Big One” zal gaan veroorzaken.
Autoriteiten nemen de dreiging in ieder geval wel serieus, want ze hebben afgelopen juni een enorme oefening gehouden met de naam Cascadia Rising waarbij de gevolgen van een 9.0 aardbeving werden gesimuleerd.
Nu seismografen al uitslaan zonder dat er aardbevingen plaatsvinden, is er misschien een volgend en nog heftiger deel van de aardveranderingen begonnen.
Of, hebben de zware aardbevingen misschien te maken met een soort kosmische golf van energie die volgens diverse bronnen rond kerst de aarde zal bereiken en die ook verantwoordelijk wordt gesteld voor de zware tsunami bij Sumatra op 26 december 2004.

WHAT COULD IT BE?
Todd Lane, an atmospheric scientist from the University of Melbourne told Science Alert that the bizarre shaped cloud is most likely some form of a cumulus fractus cloud.
These small, ragged cloud fragments are usually found under an ambient cloud base.
They form or have broken off from a larger cloud, and are sheared by strong winds, giving them a jagged, shredded appearance.
The clouds form between 8,000 to 20,000 feet and they usually appear when warm air from the ground rises to meet cooler air in the sky.
The peculiar cloud was reported earlier this month in the city of Fujisawa, which is just south of Tokyo, Japan.
Images snapped of the strange sighting have caused a frenzy across the internet, as many want to know what was floating in the sky.
Scott C Waring, creator of UFO Sightings Daily, weighed in on the discussion on Wednesday.
'This sphere cloud was seen over Japan last week and it's holding together especially well,' he shares in a blog post.
'Cloud like this are often made by UFOs that want to hide, yet come especially close so they can scan and observe the humans on the ground.'
Waring continues to explain that since this cloud was formed by a UFO, it has the ability to stay together for hours, whereas natural clouds change shapes 'second by second'.
However, the photographer who captured the puff in the sky said it started to lose its shapes while they were taking the pictures – then it quickly faded as if it never existed, reports Science Alert.
'When I looked out of the car window I saw a round ball-shaped cloud. I gazed at the cloud for a while then I rushed to take the photo,' Twitter user @pmxpvrtmx (Poppy) told local Japanese news outlet, Rocket News 24.

This theory coincides with another picture that claims to be of the same sighting, but just of a different angle.

Others have suggested that it was nothing more than a roll cloud (pictured) – a type of arcus cloud-low horizontal formation that is a result of a cold front and is usually associated with thunderstorms

And depending on the weather conditions, this type of cloud, 'can last for several hours and extend for several hundred miles,' Stephen Corfidi, a meteorologist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), told National Geographic.
Although this theory may be more believable than it being a hidden Death Star, roll clouds are usually cylinder shaped and not spherical.
Footage shows the fireball appearing to float slowly down towards the ground before it disappears from view.
The weird phenomenon was spotted in the sky above Newtown, Toowoomba, in Queensland, Australia.

At first he thought it was a satellite but he claims that in his experience it was neither that or a plane.
He said: "I am an amateur astronomer and spent 18 years in the army barracks so I know what aircraft look and act like.
"This just made my jaw drop."
People commenting on local website Chinchilla News discussed whether it was in fact an alien spaceship.
One posted: "So UFOs don't go to Japan, Korea, Russia, China, Germany, USA or any other high tech place... they come to Toowoomba."
However astronomy professor Jonti Horner, based in Queensland, believes he has the explanation.
He said: "The light looks too slow to be a meteor or fireball, and even too slow to be a bit of space junk returning to Earth and burning up in the atmosphere.
"The International Space Station is really bright, brighter than the brightest stars, and quite slow moving - and can be quite spectacular.
"The video is a bit blurry, but I think that's the most likely explanation – it looks right to me."
The spherical mass – which looks exactly like a Star Wars weaponised space station – was seen hovering over the city of Fujisawa, in the Kanagawa region of Japan.
Pictures of the of the bizarre phenomenon were posted on Twitter just days ago have gone viral, garnering thousands of retweets and comments.
One social media user called Poppy posted one of the first images of the cloud, writing: “There was a post on Facebook that I saw a strange cloud at Shonandai station at 3pm on Sunday.
“Surely, I have not seen this before …!”

A Mathematics Latin textbook that was published in 1716 interestingly shows a UFO emerging from the clouds on the cover.
The UFO looks very similar to the reported unidentified flying objects above the Earth. The disc-shaped object is seen above rough seas and below the clouds that produce lightning. The book titled “Liber De Coloribus Coeli, Accedit Oratio Inauguralis De Deo Mathematicorum Principe,” (Amazon link) is written by Johann Caspar Funck.
The book has gained attention after it was republished on Google Books.
Writer Reid Moore shared his findings and speculated the disk shape on the cover is a UFO.
Legends of UFOs started even before the flying saucer stuff became popular.
In the early 20th century, mysterious airships spotted over Britain even prompted Winston Churchill to order a probe.
Moore wrote in his blog that the illustration depicts a classic UFO, and the similarity of it to the current consensus of flying objects makes it even more interesting. He pointed out particularly the rounded shape hovering in a dramatic effect – behind storm clouds and propelled by an electrical phenomenon.
Moore is aware that flying machines have been depicted for centuries in art. However, he still considers the UFO on the book cover unusual considering the 300-year-old date.
The image on the book cover may be the proof that flying saucer UFOs have been here on Earth since the early 1700s or at very least, it is evidence that some people in that time seem to have thought flying saucers visiting Earth, according to Moore.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and it seems that experts may have finally uncovered advanced alien life in the universe. A new study indicates the presence of anomalous signals in 234 out of the 2.5 million stars that have been observed during a survey of the universe.
Scientists have encountered signals originating from certain stars which they believe may be attributed to advanced alien civilizations spread across the cosmos.
A new study published in the journal Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, under the title ‘Discovery of peculiar periodic spectral modulations in a small fraction of solar-type stars’ details the discovery.
According to a new analysis of strange modulation in a cluster of stars, the signals experts encountered may in fact be originating from advanced alien civilizations who are looking to make contact with other civilizations.
The new study indicates the presence of anomalous signals in 234 out of the 2.5 million stars that have been observed during a survey of the universe. Experts concluded that 234 of these stars behaved strangely, leading to believe an alien intelligence may be behind them.
In fact, there doesn’t appear to be an obvious explanation for what’s going on, which has led scientists to suggest that for the first time ever, the messages may prove the existence of advanced alien civilizations.
“We find that the detected signals have exactly the shape of an [extraterrestrial intelligence] signal predicted in the previous publication and are therefore in agreement with this hypothesis,” write EF Borra and E Trottier in a new paper.
“The fact that they are only found in a very small fraction of stars within a narrow spectral range centered near the spectral type of the sun is also in agreement with the ETI hypothesis,” the two scientists from Laval University in Quebec write.
However, experts have made it clear that in order to be sure, further work will need to be done to confirm their hypothesis. I order to do so; scientists will observe the same signals but using different equipment in order to rule out other possibilities.
Commenting the unprecedented discovery, Breakthrough Listen – an initiative set up this year to look for alien life and supported by people including Stephen Hawking and Mark Zuckerberg – stated the signals were extremely promising, but further work will need to be done before concluding its ET.
“The one in 10,000 objects with unusual spectra seen by Borra and Trottier are certainly worthy of additional study,” the team said in a statement. “However, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
“It is too early to unequivocally attribute these purported signals to the activities of extraterrestrial civilizations. Internationally agreed-upon protocols for searches for evidence of advanced life beyond Earth (SETI) require candidates to be confirmed by independent groups using their own telescopes, and for all natural explanations to be exhausted before invoking extraterrestrial agents as an explanation.
“Careful work must be undertaken to determine false positive rates, to rule out natural and instrumental explanations, and most importantly, to confirm detections using two or more independent telescopes.”

A paranormal investigator made a claim that the British government has involvement in the cover-up of the truth about UFOs and aliens.
UFO expert Malcolm Robinson said intelligence that could clarify unsolved British mysteries involving UFOs and aliens had been withheld from public access.
Founder of Strange Phenomena Investigations, Mr. Robinson, has collected and examined UFO evidence for years. In 2015, he presented a collection of evidence containing detailed information about UFOs and aliens to Downing Street, requesting then Prime Minister David Cameron to open an inquiry. However, it failed to materialize.
He said governments in different parts of the world, including Britain, know far more than what they disclosed to the public for sure.
He claims that Nick Pope, the manager of the now defunct UFO desk, once told him that the government did not disclose even half of the truth.
According to documents obtained under Freedom of Information, the department and hotline for UFO sighting reports was shut down in 2009 for the reason that it no longer served a defense purpose and only taking away resources and staff to more significant defense-related activities. The documents further revealed the Ministry of Defence concluded that no UFO report in 50 years had evidence of a potential threat to the U.K.
Now, Mr. Robinson has called for the government to conduct an inquiry in several sightings, including police files from Bonnybridge Scotland. Robinson said that there were over 300 UFO sightings in the small town during the 1990s.
Mr. Robinson noted that about 95% of the sightings could be explained after checking with airports, the National Security Agency, the Ministry of Defence, and meteorological stations, but some 5% don’t have a rational explanation.
Earlier this year, many UFO conspiracy theorists claimed that some MoD UFO files which had been sent to the National Archives had been sent back for further censorship.

A Nevada witness at Reno reported watching a silent, triangle-shaped UFO moving “moderately fast” with lights along two edges, according to testimony in Case 80764 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside on his driveway unloading a Christmas tree at 6:50 p.m. on December 2, 2016, with two children when the incident occurred.
“My son was looking up at the sky and said,‘Hey guys, look up. Do you see that?’the witness stated. “He pointed it out as it was directly above us. Both means my daughter saw it. My son said he thought it was an airplane or he was just hallucinating, but after we all saw it we knew it was something else because it made no noise whatsoever and was shaped nothing like an airplane.”

The witness described the object.
“It was moving in a pretty straight line towards the northwest and the Sierra mountains. The thing itself made no noise at all and appeared to be going moderately fast. The object itself was shaped almost exactly like the ‘Phoenix Lights’ in Arizona. It was very triangular; two edges came together and had lights going up the edges. Only two sides had lights, but you could see the outline of the back of it. The UFO looked big. Probably 400 feet. We were in honest disbelief afterwards. We went on the Internet to search for any stories, but didn’t find any. We then came here. It just flew out of our sight. It didn’t disappear or anything special.”
Nevada MUFON Assistant State Director Sandra Countiss investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown.

“The object was triangular-shaped, but marked boomerang shape on the form,” Countiss wrote in her report.“It cast a light, hovered as it went across the sky, appeared solid and had an outline, and was glowing. The witnesses said it was triangular-shaped. The size in the distance was about the size of a golf ball and its actual size appeared to be between 100 to 300 feet. It had white exterior lights, a black surface with unwavering lights on the exterior. There were no emissions and no sounds. The surface was dark and it glowed, structure was unknown. A helicopter was also seen in this area after the sighting. The triangular black object was about 90-degrees above the horizon when nearest to witnesses. The lowest altitude appeared to be about 500 feet. Distance from witness was unknown. The flight path was a straight line going from northwest. The area is suburban. There were three witnesses. From weather history from Reno, NV, it was an average temperature of 31 degrees, no precipitation, wind was east at 4 mph, gusting to 14 mph. Visibility was 10 miles.The craft had a black body which was big enough to block out the stars. It was a clear, cold night and visibility was unlimited. The outer parts extended farther than the lights did, flying northwest silently, hundreds of feet in size. By the time they got their cameras out and ready, it was gone.”

Date of interview: Dec 2016 Actor and director Ron Howard, who is most well known as being in "Happy Days," was caught by a TMZ interview as he was walking to work. The interviewer asked an interesting question about a show about Mars Ron was currently working on. Ron spoke about it, but then got more serious by adding, "I wouldn't want to go, but its nice to make a show about it." I personally have spoken to him twice, once when I was a kid in Needles, California when he was making a Egyptian movie, and again last year on Twitter when I asked him about that movie...which he quickly answered. Seems like a cool guy all around.
I see why Ron would not want to go to Mars, he has a lot going for him on this planet, so why start all over on one with less convinces and less population? But, as most of our older readers here already know, we have reported entire cites of buildings on Mars still mostly intact and waiting for people to once again inhabit them. in this video she talks about her research she did in Hessdalen, Norway in 2002. She also talks about other plasma anomalies that occured in other countries.
The Hessdalen lights are of unknown origin. They appear at night, and seem to float through and above the valley. They are usually bright white, yellow, or red and can appear above and below the horizon. The duration of the phenomenon may be from a few seconds to longer than an hour. Sometimes the lights move with enormous speed, and at other times, seem to slowly sway back and forth. On yet other occasions, they hover mid‑air. Some[who?] hypothesise that the light is ionised iron dust.
Unusual lights have been reported in the region since at least the 1930s. Especially high activity occurred between December 1981 and mid-1984, at which point the lights were being observed 15–20 times per week, which attracted many overnight tourists. As of 2010, the lights were observed 10–20 times per year.

Award-winning theoretical astrophysicist Priyamvada Natarajan believes we might be close to unraveling the true nature of dark matter very soon.
STILL IN THE DARK
In the 1600s, astronomers proposed the existence of objects in the universe that emit little or no light and can only be detected by the way their gravitational forces interact with other objects around them. Little did they know that this hypothesis was just the beginning of a mysterious saga that would haunt the world of physics for hundreds of years: what is dark matter?
Four centuries later and we still know very little about what dark matter is. We know it does not absorb or emit light, but its gravitational forces supposedly account for the unexplained bending or lensing of light from the galaxy observed in telescopes, which is the only way we can detect it as of now.

Several candidates for dark matter have been proposed throughout the years. One study even explored the idea that dark matter is actually made of massive gravitons. This is complicated, seeing as scientists would be trying to explain a hypothetical particle using yet another hypothetical particle. Different teams of researchers have published many calculations on what dark matter is or isn’t and how we can capture the elusive particle, and yet even the world’s most sensitive detector—LUX, had nothing to show for it.
CORNERING THE ENIGMATIC PARTICLE
In an interview with Scientific American, award-winning theoretical astrophysicist Priyamvada Natarajan shared that she is optimistic that we will be unmasking the enigmatic particles soon.
“What I think is entirely possible is that we are off in terms of our expected properties for the dark matter particle, which might account for why they remain elusive to date,” Natarajan said.
“We are really close to solving this mystery of the missing particle. This is akin to a crime scene, where we have the motive, the weapon as evidence but the body is missing! To me there are several exciting upcoming developments that I keenly look forward to in the coming 3-5 years or so that might break this intellectual impasse.”
Technology is currently progressing at a fast pace, allowing us to see far more than we used to. Physicists are positive we’ll corner the hypothetical particle. “I think we are poised to make an epistemic leap in terms of unraveling the true nature of dark matter very soon,” Natarajan says.
