Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.
This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

The Bible and Unidentified Flying Objects at Christmas
At Christmas time it would be interesting to review some of the teachings of the Bible because I feel it is one of the most important books on Earth that describe UFOs, their occupants and give us information on why they are here. The Bible states,”In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And God made man in his image, in the image of God.” If he made us in the image of God it is likely he made other aliens in his image. According to the Bible you have a mortal body and soul and spirit that is immortal. The term soul is used 754 times in the Bible and we’re told the soul is the invisible spiritual part of man, a living organism. The Bible claims you have a soul, a life force that continues after death as outlined by Barry Downing in The Bible and Flying Saucers.
At the time we take our last breath the soul or spirit leaves the body and some people who have technically died, like my brother say they hovered above their own body for 20 minutes only to return to live again. Many medical personnel claim to have seen the spirit leave the body at the time the physical body dies.
My wife who was helping her brother walk at the time of his death, felt his body become lighter as his spirit left, followed by his full weight. This time of year we celebrate the birth of Christ who was announced by angels, and his star was seen in the east.
One of the key parts of the Bible explains the transfiguration of Jesus that illustrates why we celebrate Christmas. “And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain. And Jesus was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his garments became white as light. And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah. And Peter said to Jesus, “Lord it is well that we are here; if you wish, I will make three shelters here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” He was still speaking, when lo, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased: listen to him.” When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces, and were filled with awe.” (Matthew 17). The scene represents that Jesus glory shone out through His human form according to Unger’s Bible Dictionary and represents one of the most important events of His life on Earth.
To analyze the scripture from an Ufologist standpoint, we learn that Jesus takes three witnesses up a mountain where they meet two of the patriarchs of the Bible. Both Moses and Elijah who had been dead for hundreds of years meet with Jesus and are wearing clothes and are able to talk, but are seen in a glorified state representative of those who have come into the Kingdom of God. Their souls or spirits are able to return to Earth alive. Of interest to us is that they are passengers aboard a bright cloud similar to ones often reported in these files. The word cloud or clouds are used 156 times in the Bible and describe anything that flies in the sky except birds or insects. The unidentified flying bright cloud we are told also carries God, who blesses Jesus, and gives his approval and blessing.
The Bible and Torah are filled with references to clouds, pillars of clouds or pillars of fire. The allusions to clouds in Scripture, as well as their use in symbolical language, can only be understood when we remember the climate, where there is hardly a trace of cloud from May to the end of September. Clouds are referred to as showing the power and wisdom of God in their formation. (Psalms 135.6). I suggest that this story is true, that key figures in the Bible ride on a bright cloud or UFO. Perhaps messengers from Heaven continue to ride in UFOs looking for spirits or souls at the time of death of our bodies from Earth and take us to Heaven? We also learn that God tells us to listen to Jesus’ message. Apparently millions have believed and each year we celebrate the birth of Christ at Christmas that occurred some 2016 years ago. If we believe His message we are promised ever-lasting life. Of course, if the promise is untrue, we will all die. However, if it is true that our soul lives on, I’ll meet you in Heaven! Merry Christmas!
Why we Celebrate Christmas
It seems appropriate that during the holidays we discuss the birth of Jesus Christ, the angels and Christmas Day that is celebrated as a major festival and public holiday in many countries around the world.
Jesus stated, “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” Many scriptures describe Heaven as a planet in the Northern sky with God, angels, armies, land, structures, trees and animals.
Angels are described as superhuman beings who are messengers of God who travel to our world. Some have spiritual bodies but most appear as real beings with personal bodies that have feelings, passion, emotions and desires. We are told angels come from a planet called Heaven and are given credit for many healings and the protection of many people throughout history. The Bible records 104 appearances of angels to men on Earth and that one third of the angels rebelled against God and came to deceive man.
In the first chapter of the New Testament, we are told the Holy Spirit visited the Virgin Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings you are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But, the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his Father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, his kingdom will never end”. Mary asked the angel, “How can this be, since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will over shadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God!”Luke 1-verses 26 to 35
Note: We can speculate Time Travel or advanced technology allows angels to travel from Heaven to Earth and carry out various missions. I have met people who have seen and talked to angels and have been healed by them. Many claim their lives were saved by angels. The allegations are often similar to stories about seeing extraterrestrials.
People often feel as if it would take a miracle for something to happen which would defy all odds — a meaningful coincidence — to quell our troubles. I have found these miracles can occur when people pray.
There are apparently angels who Guard us while others tempt us. The Bible claims that the angels are sent by the Father in Heaven who promises the greatest gift of all, ‘eternal life.’ I have studied the Bible, the Torah, the Koran and many ancient writings. The angels, the messengers of God, brought the Holy Scriptures to humans. Think of these ancient writings as not only religious but also as technical and historical documents .
Billy Graham the friend of most of our recent Presidents and has preached the Gospel to more people in live audiences than anyone else in history—nearly 215 million people in more than 185 countries. He wrote in his book “Angels, God’s Secret Agents”
“Some Christian writers have speculated that UFOs could very well be a part of God’s angelic host who preside over the physical affairs of universal creation.”
The Bible states, “That night shepherds were in the fields guarding their flocks of sheep and suddenly an angel appeared among them, and the landscape shone bright with the glory of the Lord. They were badly frightened, but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid! I bring you the most joyful news ever announced, and it is for everyone! The Savior-yes the Messiah, the Lord-has been born tonight in Bethlehem! How will you recognize him? You will find a baby wrapped in a blanket, lying in a manager! Suddenly the angel was joined by a vast host of others—armies of heaven-praising God: Glory to God in the highest heaven, they sang, “and peace on earth for all those pleasing him.” (Luke 2) The armies of heaven may actually describe UFOs that are often seen in large numbers.
Dr. Billy Graham says, “Angels have a much more important place in the Bible than the devil and his demons.” In Angels God’s Secret Agents” Dr. Graham combines the fascinating experiences of those who are certain they have been attended by angels with what the Bible says about angels from on high. Here is ringing assurance to all Christians that through angels God is present for His People. We can take comfort in the fact that, with the host of angels at God’s call, we are not alone. Dr. Graham looks also at how angels are to help people minister the message of the gospel of Christ. In the middle of the book he talks about Hebrews 11 where he believes angels helped and protected some people who accomplished amazing things for God.
Ancient Sumerian texts as well as the Bible reveal the existence of angels or Anunnaki, ‘Those who from Heaven to Earth Came.’ Only in recent years has modern science caught up with ancient scientific knowledge. Angels has depicted by many who have seen them often appear similar to the reports of Nordic aliens. While Draco’s or Reptilians are often identified with the Devil.
Scientist Dr. Carl Sagan in his book, “Intelligent Life in the Universe” with I. S. Shklovskiĭ indicated Earth had likely been visited by extraterrestrials. He states: “Sumer was an early–perhaps the first -civilization the contemporary sense on the planet Earth. It was founded in the forth millennium B.C. or earlier. We don’t know where the Sumerians came from. I feel that if the Sumerian civilization is depicted by the descendents of the Sumerians themselves to be of non-human origin, the relevant legends should be examined carefully.” (Page 456)
He goes on to ask, “What might an advanced extraterrestrial civilization want from us?”He answered his own question by stating, “One of the primary motivations for the exploration of the New World was to convert the inhabitants to Christianity — peacefully if possible — forcefully if necessary. Touching Heaven
For several years I have subscribed to Dr. Chauncey Crandall’s Heart Health Report that I found very informative. Now he has written an amazing book how a doctor’s glimpses of eternity. One quarter of all deaths is heart related. He sees first hand those dying on earth, and what happens after death.

Albert Einstein’s name has become synonymous with the word “genius.” He was a theoretical physicist who is most commonly known for developing the theory of relativity and the most famous equation (E = mc2) for mass/energy equivalence. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921 and published more than 300 scientific papers.
The implications of these scientific finds would reinforce claims by other scientists and observers of having contact with ‘off-world’ human looking extraterrestrials.
The ‘off-world’ human looking extraterrestrials have been claimed to have provided some of the genetic material for human evolution, and claim they are in fact our ancestors. Genesis 6 states, “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days–and also afterward–when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.”
Most of humanity would consider this group of extraterrestrials to be ‘benevolent’ as described by ‘contactees’ such as George Adamski, George Van Tassell, Howard Menger, and Alex Collier who each explain the nature of their voluntary interactions with these human looking extraterrestrials. These “contactees” often provide physical evidence in the form of photographs, film and/or witnesses of their contacts with extraterrestrial races.
Naval Interest in UFOs
While the U.S.Air Force has always been associated with the study of the UFO phenomenon the Air Intelligence Division Study No. 203 with the help of the Office of Naval Intelligence presents the first important clue that the Pentagon was well aware of the phenomenon’s marine nature. This document is one of the rarest documents in the national archives linking the Office of Naval Intelligence to any association with the investigation of the phenomenon. This secret document of December 1948 records the observation that “Sightings have been most intense throughout the states bordering The Atlantic and Pacific coast lines”
It implies that year’s ago the Navy created a special secret group to investigate the strange aerial and marine manifestations? Study 203 represents the tip of an iceberg, of naval involvement with the phenomenon that has gone unrecognized for over a hundred years. UFOs didn’t invade America’s airspace from Canada or Mexico they appeared from the sea. A considerable collection of data indicates Naval experience with the phenomenon dated back to at least 1900. The first journal to routinely publish reports about the phenomenon as early as the 1900’s was the U.S. Naval Hydrographic Office’s “Notice to Mariners’ and the first name given to the enigmatic phenomenon by that same office was “Celestial Phenomenon” seen at sea. Almost fifty years later the air force would call these same enigmatic objects “Unidentified Flying Objects”.
One account published in “Notice to Mariners” provides insight into an early serious naval interest in UFOs. Curious sightings of strange flying objects seen at sea are common in marine history.
The UFO sighting of Lt. Frank Schofield while aboard the USS Supply, off the coast of California on the 28th of February 1904 and reported in “Notices to Mariners”. Schofield’s account was: “The meteors appeared near the horizon and below the clouds, traveling in a group from Northwest to North directly toward the ship”. At first their angular motion was rapid and color a rather bright red. As they approached the ship they appeared to soar, passing above the clouds at an elevation of about 45 degrees. After rising above the clouds their angular motion became less, when they appeared to be moving directly away from the Earth at an elevation of about 75 degrees West. It was noted that the color became less pronounced as the meteors gained in elevation. When sighted, the largest meteor was in the lead, followed by the second in size and third in size flying in formation. The largest meteor had an apparent area of about six suns. It was egg shaped the sharper end forward. The after end was regular and in full outline”. “The second and third meteors were round and showed no imperfections in shape. The second meteor was estimated to be twice the size of the sun in appearance, and the third meteor about the size of the sun”.
“The near approach of these meteors to the surface and the subsequent flight away from the surface appeared to be most remarkable. The meteors were in sight over two minutes and were carefully observed by three people, whose accounts agree as to details. “
This account is a typical marine UFO sighting in a massive collection of sightings except, the witness later would become Admiral Schofield, Commander In Chief, of the Pacific Fleet in the 1930s. The accountability and detail of the Schofield sighting could only confirm suspicions, collected from numerous historical marine reports that unidentified aerial objects were operating over the Earth’s oceans and seas.
When military personal who have had UFO experiences rise to the highest levels of the military hierarchy it would be prudent to expect that they would give the UFO reality exacting consideration throughout their careers.
It is likely a secret Naval project was formed later in the century to analyze the plenteous collection of worldwide UFO sightings is certainly magnified when Lieutenant Schofield’s UFO sighting, and his ascent in the naval hierarchy are considered. The rise of Schofield to CIC of the Pacific Fleet with a perception for unusual marine phenomenon certainly should have influenced the development and direction of naval UFO investigations. Frank H. Schofield was in a position to have had a pivotal influence on the Office of Naval Intelligence concerning UFO investigations.
The name assigned to the frequently occurring phenomenon by the Air Technological Intelligence Center, Unidentified flying object, is woefully incorrect as a name to define the reported phenomenon. Fifty-percent of all UFO reports describe a phenomenon that is flying to the sea, flying from the sea, flying over the sea, diving into the water, coming out of the water, or operating with submarine like characteristics under the sea. An amphibious designation also falls short of accurately portraying the unique marine capability displayed by the phenomenon.
A more comprehensive and definitive name for the phenomenon would have to recognize the multiphibious characteristics inherent to the phenomenon from a numerous collection of land, and marine sightings. The term unconventional multiphibious vehicle (UMV) certainly describes succinctly the reported phenomenon. The implications of the phenomenon’s historical association with the sea are compounded by the fact that half of all UFO sightings are reported by an exceedingly small number of observers. This fact, this statistical anomaly is explosive in its indications.
A casual survey of UFO literature is replete with cases of UFOs causing interference and disruptions with the electromagnetic spectrum. Ships compasses wander and deviations in the Earth’s magnetic field are reported when UFOs are seen. Cosmic ray indicators fluctuate. Radio and TV disturbances are common. Automobile, truck, and aircraft electrical systems fail in the presence of UFOs. Plants, animals, and human beings are burnt by radiation emitted by UFOs when in close proximity. Acoustic signatures and sonar contacts have been reported when UFOs are seen entering or emerging from the sea. Intense light emissions of every spectrum are reported in UFO sightings. If UFOs appeared in close proximity to naval vessels and affected radio communications, the naval communications intelligence section of naval operations would have been vigilant of any electromagnetic affect experienced. UFO Sightings in the United States
Arizona Light
Tucson– There is nothing I can really say since I would have never seen it if my mother hadn’t pointed it out on December 6, 2016. I was waiting for my friend to pick me up after school, and I saw these weird shaped clouds. After taking the picture of said clouds, I sent the pictures to my mother. After a few minutes, she responded saying “Did you see what you caught?” and told me to look at the bottom right of the picture. I did see that there was a dark orb, with what looks like a darker type of windshield on top of the object. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Tucson — I was out doing yard work at about 11:30 am on December 18, 2016. A reflection from the west at about 7,500 feet caught my attention. When I focused on it, I could see that there was something that was metallic and rotating clockwise in a slow, stable, and consistent manner. There was no noise at all. I had my phone and tried to take a picture, but the object was too high up for me to get a good shot. I ran inside and got my SLR camera, quickly changed lenses to my telephoto lens, and ran back outside, thinking that the object might be gone by this point. It was still there, so I started taking pictures. The object appeared and then disappeared from my view based upon how it was reflecting the sunlight. Since it seemed to be several miles away, I had a hard time focusing my camera on it, but I was able to get a good shot. After around 15 minutes, I was no longer able to find it as it exited my view flying northwest. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Arkansas Light
Hartman — First saw very bright light in west moving in a southeast direction. The light got brighter going away. It was much bigger than the two commercial aircraft also in area that I could hear.
There was no sound from object. Used scope to look at the object and saw stars blacked out around the light I got 9 pictures, zooming in I see a very strange saucer shape. Sighting was around 6 pm on December 20, 2016. A friend also saw it. Thanks to MUFON CMS
California Object
Elk Grove — I was working in my garage cutting some foam to cover some accent windows on December 18, 2016. I had just installed some of the foam into a window and took a picture of the reflection on our lake. I looked up and saw a triangular shape moving at a high rate of speed. It was highlighted by thin dim lines of the triangle with lights on the corners of the triangle with halos around them.
The triangle went in a straight line and I lost sight of it behind my plum tree, I tried to follow it but it disappeared. I wasn’t scared, and stayed out there for another ten minutes to see if I could see anything else. I didn’t see anything else. When I went back inside I started freaking out, because of what I saw and how close it was to my house and family. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Bradenton — My roommate was sitting in the back patio and ran in screaming for me to come out front. A UFO was sighted from 9:10 to 9:15 pm on December 15, 2016, while heading north. It stopped, dropped something flaming, and then headed east and eventually faded away. It was bright red, and looked like it was on fire; we thought a plane was going to crash.
We observed it for 5 minutes but do not know the distance. I ran in to get my phone, but was too far away.

Oswego — I was standing outside taking a picture of the moon with the streaks of lights that could be seen with a picture taken on December 14, 2016. I noticed a green object moving around the area shooting from side to side in a rapid speed. I took a video of the object for 28 seconds.
You can see by zooming in on the object it changes positions and almost looks like it changes shapes as well as it turns all directions. It’s very amazing what it does and I have looked at the video at least 30 times and each time it gets more amazing. I hope you enjoy and see the green dot object I am describing in the pictures. Michigan City – For most a decade I’ve been under surveillance by the Indiana State Police and four federal agencies.
I have seen objects like the one in the video thousands of times and I can’t get anybody to believe me individuals have told me that the other videos were stars, or other objects like a space station, mars or etc, I strongly disagree and I feel it is a government drone or a Indiana state police drone.
I’ve seen other objects after a period of time there will be an aircraft beacon that will come on. I have tried everything in my power to get records to prove my accusations and at every turn I’m stonewalled. I currently have over five pending federal lawsuits on this subject matter. Las Vegas — I was driving my mother’s car with her in the passenger seat and held the camera directly next to the windshield, using the rear view mirror to steady it on November 29, 2016. My intent was to take pictures of two large 15 stories tall condominiums. The camera was an iPhone 6 and I took three shots, the first two of which included the UFOs. One is a highly visible blue round shape similar to a satellite dish. Other is a large dark ship above the blue one, with faint lights around the perimeter and two somewhat brighter lights on the left facing side (front?). Note the change of position of the objects from one picture to the next. There was definitely nothing in the vehicle that would cause reflection or glare. My vision was focused on the road ahead and not on the sky. We were traveling southeast on Alta Drive (Summerlin/Las Vegas) at the speed limit (35mph) approaching One Queensridge Place Condo Towers. Tonawanda — I walked outside to smoke on December 20, 2016, looking to my left I saw a strange bright light in the sky. There were only two other stars visible in the sky and they were much smaller and much dimmer than this light. I went into the house to get my phone and told my wife to come look at it. We both went outside and I then took two pictures of it.
I went back into the house to grab my digital camera and went back outside to take pictures with that. I had issues with the auto focus being on and the low light. I return back into the house and took about 5 minutes to figure out how to get the autofocus turned off. I then went back outside and took a few pictures of the light. After that I went back into the house to eat dinner. I went back outside at 6:30 PM and the light was no longer there or clouds had blown in and obscured it. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Elverson– On December 19, 2016, I let my dog out just after daybreak and was sitting on porch and I heard this jet sound. It was just like the gas burner of a hot air balloon. I looked west and I saw this silver/gray circular object coming down from the clouds. As I turned and looked it stopped and two other aircrafts split and one headed due west and the other east towards me. I saw the metallic reflection of the craft that came towards me. After two seconds, both craft disappeared into thin air, only leaving its exhaust or “trail”.
I ran into the house to get my phone and took a few pictures. As I studied enlargement on my computer screen, I can see a circular, semi white cloud “burst” amidst the gray cluster above. The burst pushed the clouds out into a circle and the object came down out of the clouds before it separated into two. Scariest thing I’ve ever seen. Fujisawa –This mysterious perfectly spherical cloud was seen hovering over the city on December 6, 2016.
The incredible looking globe cloud was taken in the sky over Fujisaw in Kanagawa Prefecture near Tokyo’s southern border. A picture of a similar round cloud was taken over the city of Koriyama in the prefecture of Fukushima in November 2015. The fluffy ball cloud is so weird looking, that many people are questioning the authenticity of the photograph. “When I looked out of the car window I saw a round ball-shaped cloud. I gazed at the cloud for a while then I rushed to take the photo. When I saw the cloud it was an even more spherical shape, so I regret not taking the photo more quickly.”
Some climate experts commented that this cloud probably falls under a “roll cloud” category. It “forms under wind created from a ‘mountain wave’ (or airstreams going over mountains) on a windy day”. According to Wikipedia “roll clouds are formed by outflows of cold air from sea breezes or cold fronts.”
Riga — the night sky was lightly cloudy, like a weak fog, you could see the moon easily that night.
A very strong beam of light from somewhere hit through the fogy clouds. It was there for two hours in the sky.

Villa Zaita — I was preparing the house for my son’s birthday. I go out to the back of the house and see the object in the sky. I start filming and taking pictures with my cell phone (Samsung Galaxy S5).
The object was irregular in shape, rotated and oscillated. It did not emit light or sound and moved against the wind. It was at a distance of 250 meters from me and at an altitude of approximately 300 meters.
He followed it for several minutes then the object split in two. Then increase the altitude very high until reaching the clouds and before entering the clouds separated into 6 or 7 smaller objects. Unfortunately the photos I have of the objects are very blurred by the altitude that I had.

U.S. lobbyist Steve Bassett has revealed that the White House is going to announce the existence of aliens soon.
Bassett told Express in an exclusive interview that Obama will make the announcement before he leaves the Oval Office.
"We are going to get disclosure this year. I am not sure who will win the election, but I think Obama will be the disclosure president. He will be looking at a Nobel Prize for making an announcement like that. I am 85 per cent sure Obama will make the announcement before he leaves office and within days your Prime Minister David Cameron will follow," he said.
A former CIA agent who refused to be identified also confirmed the existence of aliens on Earth. According to Space News, the agent underwent signal training course, as part of the CIA operative. During which, he said he has worked with aliens in devising innovative technology and devices.
He also revealed that he, together with higher officials have personally visited Area 51 a couple of times.
Area 51 is a United States Air Force facility located about 90 miles north of Las Vegas, Nevada. TIME notes that conspiracy theorists dub it as a "secret" military base where remains of crashed UFO spacecrafts are stored at the secretive area, including the infamous alien spacecraft that crashed in Roswell, N.M.
President Barack Obama's refusal to out right deny the existence of aliens in interviews have fueled the speculations that Area 51 controversy is real.
Express quoted one expert who believes disclosure of aliens is near. The conspiracists said: "Whenever a US president or senior official is put on the spot they get this smile and say something like 'I couldn't tell you even if I knew'...or something like that. You will never get a total denial, but it is a double bluff.
Furthermore, Hilary Clinton who ran for presidency last election vowed in January that she will send a task force to Area 51 to verify the rumors.
Science fiction movies frequently make it seem as though hostile extraterrestrials might be able to sneak through Earth’s atmosphere, emerge from the clouds without warning, and start wrecking shit. But is it really possible that spaceships could suddenly appear out of the vast blackness of space unnoticed by the myriad instruments on the ground? Depending on the aliens’ level of technological sophistication, one can argue that almost anything is possible. Humans have pointed a lot of sensors skyward, but it’s not clear they would really give us a proper heads up before our extraterrestrial guests arrive.
It sort of depends on exactly what we’re looking for. The search for extraterrestrial intelligence, better known as SETI, has been fruitless so far, but we keep investing and more and more money towards projects aimed at answering whether or not we’re alone in the universe. That investigation basically revolves around detecting various signals that point to the existence of technologically advanced extraterrestrials. And that also means the instruments we can use to observe space let us see farther into the universe than ever before. How far exactly? Douglas Vakoch tells Inverse that the answer has more to do with defining “see” than with arriving at a specific number.
A SETI researcher and the president of METI International, Vakoch divides the tools used to do SETI research into two groups: optical, and radio. Optical instruments, which look for lasers or other light patterns that suggest the presence of intelligent aliens, can make decent observations up to about 1,000 light-years away. “Beyond 1,000 light-years, however, it can get more difficult,” Vakoch says. Those instruments include the Boquete Optical SETI Observatory in Panama, and the Owl Observatory in Michigan.
Radio instruments, on the other hand, make a lot more sense for investigating signs of extraterrestrial life. For one, we can listen in on radio waves moving through space from about 10,000 light-years and beyond. Radio waves are also a pretty specific sign of a technologically advanced civilization while a star system may be expressing a strange laser-based signal in the distance, that might also just be an unexplained natural phenomenon (as we’re sort of learning when it comes to Tabbys Star.
Of course, as Vakoch emphasizes, our abilities to listen in on the universe dwindles as the distance increases. Aliens broadcasting themselves 10,000 light-years away will likely avoid detection.
But then again, SETI is a two-way street. When asked whether we currently have a maximum limit from which we can detect alien life, Seth Shostak, the director of the Center for SETI Research at the SETI Institute, says, “It depends on how much money the aliens have to invest in their own technology.” He’s referring to the fact that intelligent lifeforms might possess technologies that allow them to broadcast their existence to us from farther away and offset the limits of our own instruments.
“In theory, there’s no limit,” he adds.
It’s important to remember that SETI investigations don’t just watch the universe in all direction in hopes we’ll stumble on something. Scientists focus our instruments on certain regions of space that are most promising — i.e. the exoplanets or star systems that possess the best chances for developing habitable environments.
“We start close to home,” says Vakoch, “and look at sun-like stars. As we move the investigation farther out, we start to hone in on stars or star regions that might be useful. For example, a current trend in the SETI community is the study of red dwarf stars, which were historically ignored. The beauty of red dwarfs is that they last a long time,” says Vakoch, sustaining planetary systems that have a much longer chance of developing habitable traits. Red dwarfs make up about 80 to 90 percent of the stars in our own neighborhood within the Milky Way galaxy.”
There’s another big factor to consider. SETI research focuses on finding aliens that want to be found — or at the very least, are not actively trying to hide from human detection. If a hostile fleet of extraterrestrial warships were stationed somewhere in the galaxy or was en route to the solar system, they could very well possess a number of highly advanced technologies that could shroud their presence. Space itself is incredibly big anyways — humans don’t have eyes and ears scanning all parts of the universe around us.
Aliens might be able to slip into orbit, but if they were traveling in anything truly large it might be quite difficult for them to do so without severely disrupting our orbital equipment or even taking out a geosynchronous satellite. Still, that’s not an impossible feat.
“If they’re sufficiently intelligent,” says Vakoch, “there’s no reason to think they couldn’t be anywhere.”
In the world of science fiction, when aliens attack the Earth, they often go after another rocky sphere. That would be the moon, our planet’s only natural satellite. Although there are exactly zero humans currently residing on the moon, zero pieces of essential equipment or instruments (although let’s be real, those lunar go-karts are pretty dope) situated on its surface or its orbit, and no concrete sense of whether it possesses any valuable resources, the moon is essential to our species’ survival on this planet. If hostile aliens were to blow it to bits or cause some serious damage to it, human would be in serious trouble — even if we managed to successfully repel an extraterrestrial threat.
The moon has played a key role in shaping the way natural processes of Earth, and it continues to do so today. The moon is thought to have been formed just a mere 30 million years after the Earth (which itself is 4.53 billion years old). Since then, the moon’s single greatest (and most obvious) effect on the Earth has been the mediation of the ebb and flow of tides on the planet’s bodies of water.
Scientist believe that in the infancy of this relationship, the moon’s distance from Earth was half of what it is today — and this resulted in much more extreme tides. These tides drove heat from the equator to the poles, leading to ice ages. These glacial shifts spurred more rapid migratory patterns in various species, resulting in a more diverse array of life around the globe. In fact, because of how important water is to molecular processes in primitive life and organic materials, tide shifts may have acted as a kind of natural way for those chemical reactions to get rid of or acquire water in the formation of basic structures like nucleic acids. In other words, tides may have jumpstarted or encouraged the evolution of life on Earth.
Because it's gone forever.
Okay, that’s a pretty cool history lesson, but what about today? What exactly would be the biggest impact on our lives today if the moon disappeared or had a chunk ripped out from itself?”
“We’d lose the normal rhythm of tides,” says Noah Petro, a research scientist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center who works with the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. He tells Inverse we’d probably lose the large tides we’re used to on a day-to-day basis, and instead experience “smaller tides, caused by the Earth’s rotation with the sun.”
The most noticeable effect this would have is that we’d see oceans around the world level off, to a certain extent. While initially that might save coastal communities from having to deal with potential floods during high-tide, it would also mean they would lose the benefits of low tide. That would wreak havoc on clams, which would have a cascading effect on underwater ecosystems as well as the beachside food shacks worldwide.
Furthermore, the moon plays a significant role in distorting water around the equator. Without a natural satellite, that water would probably redistribute itself around the poles. This might seem like a good thing for coastal cities by the ocean that are constantly threatened by rising floods. But this is awful for bodies of water inland that are fed by oceans. We might see estuaries — responsible for desalinating water naturally — dry up or become significantly reduced. Rivers and lakes further inland would also shrink by quite a bit.
Unless we manage to make artificial desalination technology viable, we’d see the whole world inundated by water shortages — and that’s already a problem much of the world is currently contending with.
Petro also cites two other significant effects the moon’s vanishing act would have on Earth. “The moon stabilizes Earth’s orbit,” he says, “so we’d see changes to the climate we’re currently used to.” He points to Mars as an indicator of what we might see. Mars doesn’t have large moons like Earth’s to affect its axial tilt as much, so the red planet is stuck with very long ice ages.
On Earth, there would be a significant amount of long winters, and “a general cooling off,” of the world at first, he says, perhaps followed by a warming. We’d see “wild extremes” that are more drawn out and last much longer than the planet has previously exhibited. Petro emphasizes that these climatic effects would certainly not be felt immediately — they would occur on a scale of 1,000 to 10,000 years. But there is one other effect that humans would have to find solutions to very quickly if the moon were blown up or hit with some sort of explosive force: debris.
A lot of material, he says, would be expelled into Earth’s orbit, and some of it might even push through the atmosphere and strike the surface. If that debris were big enough, we’d basically deal with a catastrophic scenario of falling moon rocks that not even Brian May would be able to fix.
Let’s also not forget the fact that orbital debris is also an increasing threat to the world’s satellite currently zipping around the globe. Some of those instruments are extremely important to communications systems used by governments and militaries. If aliens fired a bunch of missiles at the moon, we can basically kiss those satellites goodbye. Hopefully we have a few landlines still lying around as a backup.
“Fortunately, we don’t expect the destruction of the moon to happen,” Petro added, laughing.
Move over Tatooine — having two suns is old news. New research shows that the closest exoplanet to Earth — Proxima b — may have just one-upped the fictional Star Wars desert world by possessing not two, but three stars as a part of its orbit.
Most of the stars in the universe come in pairs, orbiting around the same point in space. This is known as a binary star system — planets that reside in such a system end up orbiting both stars. In order for that to happen, both stars must be gravitationally bound, orbiting the same central point in space. However, astronomers have had a difficult time proving this is the case with the Alpha Centauri system — the nearest star system to Earth (at 4.3 light-years away), and another place hyped with the prospect of habitable worlds and alien life. Close to Alpha Centauri’s two stars is Proxima Centauri — a faint red dwarf around which Proxima b orbits. And for a while, scientists weren’t completely sure if Proxima Centauri shared an orbital relationship with Alpha Centauri.
Because Proxima Centauri is so faint, astronomers have had a difficult time accurately measuring its radial velocity — aka the speed at which it moves towards and away from Earth.
Recently, a trio of astronomers concluded that the three stars are indeed orbiting the same point, by using a specialized instrument at the European Southern Observatory (called HARPS). Their research will be published in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics, and a pre-print is currently available online.

The new data doesn’t simply reveal that this a bound triple star system. The observations also place the age of the stars in the system at approximately six billion years old and indicate that Proxima b may have formed farther away from Proxima Centauri. As the planet orbited, Alpha Centauri A and/or B could have tugged on it a bit and altered its orbit, pulling it closer in. Or, perhaps Proxima b could have formed around one of the other stars and was captured by Proxima Centauri as it passed by.
The new findings bolster the possibility that we could one day find life on this alien world. If either of these hypotheses is correct, then it’s entirely possible that Proxima b was once an icy world that now has liquid water on its surface thanks to some cosmic reshuffling. Water’s the single most important property for allowing a world to sustain life. The potential for Proxima b to one day be home to future humans — or perhaps currently be home to extraterrestrial life — is now dramatically more exiting.
If that wasn’t cool enough, it also means that any potential life on the planet would get to experience an epic three star sunset every day.
Want to Live on Mars? We have the ice house for you. NASA is crowd-sourcing ideas for future Martian habitats and the leading design is essentially a modified igloo. That’s right, the first humans to inhabit Mars, may reside inhomes made of ice.
Last month, a research team from the University of Texas announced that Mars is hiding a secret supply of water just below its surface. They reported that a region on Mars known as Utopia Planitia is harboring as much water as Lake Superior here on Earth — only difference is the Martian reserves are frozen solid.
The ice reservoir is located a mid-northern latitudes — which means it’s about halfway between the equator and the poles — and is reportedly the size of New Mexico. Even though the supply may be buried under a layer of regolith ranging from 3 to 33 feet deep, this finding is still excellent news for a group at NASA’s Langley Engineering Design Studio in Hampton, Virginia.
Mars has reserves of water-ice that rival Lake Superior.
In 2015 NASA put out a call in the form of a centennial challenge, asking for teams to submit potential habitat designs as part of a national competition. Team Space Exploration Architecture and Clouds Architecture Office won first place for their idea of building a Mars Ice House.
The design team won a $25,000 prize and has been working with NASA Langley to further develop their habitat. The modified igloo is a deployable habitat that makes good use of resources currently on the red planet — namely water-ice. This means that less materials will need to be launched from Earth, keeping the construction costs down.

One of the biggest concerns with future human missions to mars is how will we shield our astronauts from harmful radiation? While previous habitat designs have focused on building shelter underground or developing some sort of shielding, the Mars Ice House could protect its residents without any additional features. Water-ice is a great barrier against galactic cosmic rays (GCRs), which are one of the main threats to human health on long-duration Mars missions.
Pure water-ice, which is readily available on the red planet, will serve as the main material for the Ice Home’s shielding and structure. Carbon dioxide gas would be extracted from the Martian atmosphere and used as insulation between blocks of water and blocks of ice that make up the habitat. As such, the structure would be transparent, which could make future inhabitants feel more like they are living in a home, rather than a dark cave.

The current design features a cozy habitat built for four with room for sleeping quarters, a kitchen, work areas and recreation areas. The design team says that the materials used to build the house would allow for the temperature to remain a cool, comfy 72 degrees Fahrenheit inside, no matter what the weather was like on Mars.

On the night of January 22/23, 1950, near the Bering Sea at Kodiak, Alaska, Navy patrol pilot Lt. Smith made a routine security flight. At 2:40 a.m., he obtained a radar reading of an object 20 miles north, which quickly vanished. Eight minutes later, he picked up either the same or a different object. He radioed Kodiak to learn that no known aircraft were in the area. The Kodiak radar officer then reported that he was receiving interference, the likes of which he had never experienced.
At about 3 a.m., the USS Tillamock was south of Kodiak when one of the men on deck saw “a very fast moving red glow light, which appeared to be of exhaust nature.” The object came from the southeast, moved clockwise in a large circle around Kodiak, and returned to the southeast. Another officer came out to look, saw it in view for 30 seconds, and described it as like “a large ball of orange fire.” No sound came from the source of the light.
At 4:40 a.m. Lt. Smith, still on airborne patrol and experiencing no radar problems, now picked up another blip on his radar – so fast that it left a trail on his screen. Smith called his crew, who immediately saw the object close a five mile gap in ten seconds, an apparent speed of 1,800 mph. He tried to pursue the object, but it was too maneuverable. Witnesses described two orange lights that rotated around a common center. At some point the object made a sharp turn and headed directly toward Smith’s plane. He “considered this to be a highly threatening gesture” and turned off his lights. The UFO flew by and disappeared.
At least 36 copies of the Navy’s detailed report were sent to various security agencies, including the CIA, FBI, Air Force Intelligence, and the Department of State. None of these copies were ever released or published, although a truncated FBI copy surfaced in the 1970s as the result of a Freedom of Information Act request. The document’s explanation: “the objects must be regarded as phenomena . . . the exact nature of which could not be determined.”1
And yet publicly, the Air Force had stopped investigating UFOs. Air Force Captain Edward Ruppelt, who later headed Project Blue Book – the Air Force’s official UFO investigative body – claimed that UFO investigations at this time rated “minimum effort.” The old Project Grudge files, he said, had been “chucked into an old storage case,” and many reports were missing when he sifted through them a few years later. What, then, of the Kodiak case? We do not know the military’s response to this, but Ruppelt noted that early in 1950, the Director of Air Force Intelligence (one of the recipients of the Kodiak report) sent a letter to Air Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC) indicating that he had never issued any order to end Project Grudge. ATIC replied weakly that it had not actually disbanded Grudge, but merely transferred its project functions and no longer considered it a special project. It is possible that the Kodiak incident sparked this exchange.
A couple of scientists have considered how the search for extraterrestrial intelligence is conducted and, working off the idea that sufficiently advanced alien beings would at least attempt to build defensive structures around their world to defend against potentially catastrophic extraplanetary threats, suggest that one way such beings might be found would be through their defense systems. In fact, the scientists contend, the aliens would not necessarily have to be much more advanced than humans.
Inverse reported recently that Milan Cirkovic and Branislav Vukotic of the Astronomical Observatory of Belgrade have suggested in a study that searching for defensive structures that guard against something as devastating as a nearby (exploding) dying star could potentially lead to the discovery of intelligent alien beings. The duo posits that intelligent beings not much more advanced than humanity could erect artificial barriers or perhaps some type of megastructure to thwart an incoming threat like a gamma-ray blast or the expended electromagnetic energy of an exploding supernova.
Cirkovic and Vukotic write in the paper (per Business Insider), “For the present purposes, we note that no part of any spiral galaxy [like our Milky Way] can be considered safe from cosmic explosions in the long run. And as the timeframe considered by an intelligent species grows longer, more relevant becomes the issue of mitigation.”
Such mitigation would include planetary defense systems, something that our own planet has yet to develop but, Cirkovic and Vukotic believe, is well within humanity’s technological reach within the next century. An alien civilization just a few decades or more technologically advanced might have thought of and created such forms of mitigation already.
Such defense systems could be found much the same way as exoplanets are detected, by studying and recording the dimming of stars, a method known as transiting. The scientists suggest that there are observables to look for that could distinguish what they refer to as “shielding swarms” (like asteroids) from exoplanets: The mass of the shield construct would be the size of a planet with a great deal less mass than it should have; the structure will not obey the natural laws of motion; unusual optical properties (like infra-red absorption); and anomalous planetary reactions within a system affected by a supernova (derived from historical data).
As Inverse pointed out, the discovery of the mysterious dimming star, KIC 8462852, had scientists speculating that the effect could be caused by mitigating phenomena like planets, swarms of comets, and even a Dyson sphere (a theoretical artificial construct that would surround a star and harness its energy). And the Inquisitr reported in September that the latest theory behind the dimming was that the star was being occluded by an interstellar band of space rock and debris.

The Cirkovic and Vukotic paper appears to be an extension of the alien megastructure idea, that where one might find something resembling an artificial formation — whether it be a manufactured sphere or a shield of unnaturally aligned asteroids — that could be used as a defense, one might just find a nearby intelligent alien civilization.

If nothing else, the paper, which was published in Acta Astronautica, provides yet another method, along with the current searches for extraterrestrial transmissions and tell-tale atmospheric biosignatures, for detecting extraterrestrial intelligence.
Of course, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence has been going on for centuries, but the formalized and collective push to find intelligence came about when Dr. Frank Drake, the scientist that formulated the now famous Drake Equation for calculating the number of extant alien civilizations capable to extraplanetary communication within the Milky Way, pointed a radio telescope from the Greenbank Observatory in West Virginia at the distant stars stars Tau Ceti and Epsilon Eridani. His efforts, along with contributions from thousands of others, morphed into what would become SETI and the SETI Institute, the mission of which is to continue the search for alien extra-solar intelligence.

A NASA scientist has warned that comets arcing through our Solar System could pose more of a threat (or at least as much of one) than asteroids that are constantly in the headlines as being a potential danger to life on Earth as we know it. And there are several reasons why a comet headed on a collision course with our planet could be far more devastating, perhaps even producing an extinction level event not seen in tens of millions of years.
Live Science reported recently that the warning has gone out that not only is Earth totally unprepared for defending itself against an imminent asteroid strike but that comets on a collision trajectory would also likely pose greater risks to the planet. Such a collision might even result in the extinction of a majority, if not all, of the major living organisms on Earth.
NASA scientist Dr. Joseph Nuth of the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, during a news conference at the annual fall meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) held in San Francisco where he made a presentation on the asteroid deflection capabilities and possibilities currently available, suggested that scientists and policymakers should broaden the scope of the potential dangers to Earth hurtling through the Solar System. He said that comets, though often dismissed, are an ever-present threat and it was time that they, too, be considered when taking measures to protect against extra-planetary-generated impacts.
“Comets have largely been ignored by people that are interested in defending the planet.”
The primary reason comets aren’t given their due, Nuth said, was the perception that little can be done to stop comets. This is in part due to the difficulty astronomers have in spotting and tracking them.
“A comet comes out of nowhere, pretty much,” Nuth said during his presentation a few hours prior to the press conference.
In fact, the last near-miss comet, Siding Spring, buzzed Mars, coming to within 87,000 miles (140,000 kilometers) of our neighboring planet. And earlier this year, an asteroid or comet slammed into Jupiter, an event caught on camera by an amateur astronomer, according to CBS News.

But Earth has to worry about comets the size of Shoemaker-Levy 9, the comet that disintegrated in the atmosphere of Jupiter in 1994 after it was caught by the gas giant’s gravitational field. Scientists estimated, according to a Shoemaker-Levy 9 question and answer webpage set up by Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas, the size of the original comet from the fragments that fell to Jupiter as being approximately 3 miles (5 kilometers) to 6 miles (10 kilometers) across. (In his presentation, when Nuth spoke of giant asteroids that Earth needed to defend against, he referenced, as was reported by the Inquisitr, the “dinosaur killer” asteroid — or comet — that impacted some 65 million years ago, a space rock estimated to have been at least 6 miles (10 kilometers) wide.)
And scientists and agencies need to worry not only about them being spotted late in their orbits and limiting the response time to mount a defense, but also about size and trajectory and velocity. As Nuth explained, comets generally are larger than the average asteroid. The orbital paths of comets have also been found to be elliptical (as opposed to asteroids, where the orbits of most are roughly like Earth’s), with the comet making its journey from the outer reaches of the Solar System, moving in for direct hits (whereas asteroids usually strike the Earth at various angles). Whereas the asteroids travel at an average speed of 44,700 miles per hour (71,940 kilometers per hour), the long elliptical trips of comets see them pick up speed as they approach the sun. For instance, comet Siding Spring was traveling at 125,000 mph (200,000 kilometers per hour) as it passed Mars.
Greater mass. Greater velocity. Greater potential for a direct collision. According to Nuth, these factors provide for “potentially cataclysmic” consequences. He also pointed out that given that extinction-event-level asteroids and meteors collide with the Earth about every 50-60 million years on average and the last impactor, the “dinosaur killer,” hit roughly 65 million years ago, the planet was due for a catastrophic asteroid or comet strike.

The problem, as Nuth pointed out at the presentation, was that there was nothing at present the Earth could do about a hazardous object headed for the Earth unless there was at least five years to prepare or launch some type of interception or deflection mission. This was why along with suggesting that measures be taken to defend the planet more effectively, he also had suggested a possible solution at the presentation.
Nuth suggested a two-part defensive strategy which would employ an “observer” and an “interceptor” spacecraft. The former would study potentially hazardous objects to deem the seriousness of the threat. The latter, which could be outfitted with a nuclear weapon, would be used for destroying or deflecting the object.
“It’s really imperative that we reduce that reaction time,” he said at the news conference.
Other methods of deflection presented at the AGU included the suggestion of the use of lasers to target an incoming object, possibly producing gaseous jet eruptions from said object and knocking it from its collision-course trajectory, and the use of a “kinetic impactor,” described as “basically a giant cannonball,” that would act to batter an asteroid — or comet — off its trajectory.
Scientists using numerous computer simulation models of giant asteroid impacts on the ocean have found that the farther out into the deepest areas of the ocean, the more distance the object is when it strikes the water’s surface, has a profound impact on the potential for damage. In fact, given all the Hollywood-driven scenarios of massive tsunamis, virtual mountains of water crashing into coastal cities after an asteroid impact, it should be noted that such an event will likely never occur.
As Seeker reported this week, scientists at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico have found that tsunamis rolling in and over coastal cities due to the impact of a massive asteroid are likely never to occur, because 70 percent of the Earth’s surface is covered by water. The researchers studied different sized asteroids making impacts at different distances — and different incoming trajectories and different water depths — from the shoreline. They also studied the effects of asteroids that exploded as airbursts. As one might expect, asteroids that hit close to shore were devastating to coastal areas. However, as the distance from shore — and the water’s depth — grew, the less likely the monstrous waves created by the impact would reach the shore as a danger.
“Movies like ‘Deep Impact’ and ‘Armageddon’ suggested that an ocean impact would produce a devastating tsunami that would affect everything along the shorelines surrounding an ocean basin… but I was skeptical,” Galen Gisler, the scientist who led the project at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, told Seeker.
Researchers found that Gisler was correct with his original hypothesis. The three-dimensional modeling showed that the tsunamis portrayed in the movies were fiction.

“An asteroid impact is a point source and it only affects the immediate region around the impact point and moreover, to create a tsunami, you need something that disturbs the entire water column,” Gisler explained.
A point source-generated wave loses its ability to propagate fairly quickly, the scientists found. As the Daily Mail noted, using the factors of a basalt asteroid, static air, and static water, “kinetic energy would be transferred to the water, and in the largest scenario, the visualization shows how a 250-meter-wide asteroid could create a transient crater, giving rise to a massive plume of water and water vapor.”
As ScienceAlert reported, such a jet of water from the initial asteroid impact could reach from hundred of meters in height to a few kilometers. Still, even with so much water falling back into the ocean, the resulting colliding shockwaves in both the atmosphere and the water, plus wind resistance at the water’s surface would work against the creation of a propagating wave.
Regardless, as Gizmodo pointed out, giant asteroids colliding with the ocean (or even exploding over it) are still incredibly dangerous, especially at point of impact — just not in the area of creating a tsunami.
“The most significant effect of an impact into the ocean is the injection of water vapor into the stratosphere, with possible climate effects,” Gisler said.
The release of water vapor into the upper atmosphere would only add to the greenhouse effect and contribute to the already runaway global warming problem facing the planet.

But the worst possible scenario, other than a direct asteroid impact on land? An airburst just off the coast. As Gisler noted, such a detonation near a “populated shore will be very dangerous” and could very well produce a tsunami like those seen in the movies.
The asteroid simulation study comes as a NASA scientist, Joseph Nuth, made remarks at a presentation in San Francisco on Monday that the Earth was unprepared to defend itself against a “dinosaur killer” asteroid strike. As the Inquisitr reported, Nuth warned that the Earth was somewhat due an extinction event-sized asteroid (considering the average time between such events is roughly 50-60 million years, and the last event occurred approximately 65 million years ago, contributing to the extinction of the dinosaurs) and “there’s not a hell of a lot we can do about it at the moment.”

Footage showing a mysterious glowing orb hovering in the sky over Fairbanks, Alaska, and releasing multiple smaller orbs mid-air before disappearing has sparked excitement among members of the online UFO community. UFO enthusiasts are touting the latest footage as the best example of a series of nearly identical clips released recently showing orb UFOs dropping smaller “pods” at several locations across the country.
The recent slew of clips allegedly showing orb UFOs dropping “landing pods” across the country sparked rumorsamong members of the UFO community that a secret alien invasion of Earth by possibly hostile alien races could be underway, the Inquisitr reported in February.
The latest footage was uploaded online on May 13, 2016, by YouTube user Jared A, a security officer in Fairbanks, Alaska. Jared began filming after he noticed a bright light in the sky at about 3 a.m. during a routine patrol in Fairbanks.
For about five minutes, he filmed the mysterious glowing orb floating in the air and releasing smaller orbs.
The clip shows the extraordinary moment that the UFO appears to release multiple orbs over Fairbanks. The first orb was released at the 1:30 mark in the footage and two other orbs were released at 2:30.
Jared exclaims in awe as the UFO releases two smaller orbs in succession.
The glowing orb appears to split into three. The three orbs assume a triangle formation. One of the orbs drops earthward rapidly, but all three fade gradually and disappear.
The awestruck witness appears to suggest that the orb looks like a craft dropping smaller surveillance crafts or drones.
“Wow! They are putting out drones man. Scouting the area I guess.”
“The phone does not do it justice, but it was brighter and just simply amazing to see,” he commented on Reddit.
The footage is going viral online having received nearly 10,000 views on the witnesses’ channel alone. A few UFO interest channels, including UFO News, have also uploaded copies.
The footage has sparked speculation among UFO enthusiasts, with many touting it as the best in recent times showing an alien UFO hovering in the sky and dropping “pods” to the ground.
This is a good example of how to record a UFO Sighting.
“Wow just wow! I wish I could see alien already it’s my biggest dream.”
Skeptics have been unable to explain away the latest footage as a hoax.
“This one is truly confusing,” one said.
But some skeptics suggested it actually shows space debris entering the Earth’s atmosphere and breaking up.
However, UFO hunters pointed out the remarkable similarity between the footage and several other clips uploaded online recently showing glowing orbs dropping what appear to be “landing pods” over multiple locations across the U.S.
The Inquisitrreported in February that multiple identical footage showing UFOs dropping or jettisoning smaller orbs over several locations in the U.S. caused researchers to raise alarm that a stealth invasion of Earth could be underway.
The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) has received several remarkably similar clips recently showing glowing or flashing orbs hovering in the sky and breaking into smaller pieces that drop or fall to the ground in a manner that suggests a large UFO releasing a landing pod.
The Inquisitr reported that UFO hunters suggested that the slew of sightings documented on video by unrelated witnesses from different parts of the country suggest alien invaders are secretly establishing sleeper cells in different parts of the county.
For instance, the footage below, uploaded to YouTube by MUFON on February 12, 2016 (Case 52934), was captured over Boise, Idaho, by a witness driving home with his wife on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2013.
The clip, which appears to show a stealth orb UFO dropping a “landing pod,” was corroborated independently by two other witnesses who observed the same incident from separate locations.
The first witness (Case 52934) described the orb as glowing in the sky with a red light. He called his wife’s attention to it. She suggested that they pull over and watch. After observing for several minutes, the witness rushed home to fetch his video camera and managed to capture the final moments when the orb dropped a smaller flashing orb to the ground.
The witness filmed as the “landing pod” dropped slowly from the larger glowing orb, after which the light of the larger orb faded gradually and disappeared.
A second resident of Boise also reported seeing the glowing UFO hovering in the sky. In his testimony, filed as Case 52930, the orb hovered for more than three minutes before it dropped a smaller orb to the ground.
“This really freaked me out. I watch the sky all of the time and have never seen anything like this before.”
A third witness (Case 52942) also reported seeing a UFO releasing an orb that fell to the ground.
The Inquisitrreported earlier on February 12, 2016, a nearly identical case (Case 53762) involving a witness from Spokane Valley in Washington, who saw a UFO with an orange-red glow at about 7 p.m. on January 26, 2016. He watched as the UFO dropped a smaller orb to the ground.
According to the witness, the larger orb flew eastward and disappeared after it had dropped the smaller orb.
“The object stopped, flashed very brightly several times and then discarded something,” the witness said. “There was glowing discharge from the bottom of the object. The object lost brightness intensity and then slowly went away.”
UFO hunters analyzing the footage at the time suggested that the mysterious orb may have been an alien craft releasing a “landing pod” or an escape capsule.
A nearly identical sighting was also reported over California in January 2015. A witness sighted and filmed a mysterious glowing orb dropping another orb as it streaked across the sky.
Members of the UFO community claim that aliens live secretly among us. They cite testimonies by former high-ranking government military officials and scientists (see below) to back claims that aliens disguised as humans live on Earth.
According to Paul Hellyer, a former Canadian defense minister, the world’s leaders know that extraterrestrial beings, such as the Greys, Pleiadians, and evil Reptilian aliens, live among us and influence global politics.

Captured by UFO Sydney of Youtube, these white UFOs are turbo fast, if you have never caught one, then its only because you have never filmed the sky for an hour and then watched it on your computer in .25X speed (slow motion). These UFOs do exist, and they exhibit intelligence. They are also seem to feed off of the static electricity in the air.
Long ago, ago when my site got on CNN for a story about a lightening storm over Norte Dame stadium during a game (video has since been deleted for unknown reasons), these tiny white UFOs shot everywhere. There were thousands of them and even the score board was hit by lightening...evacuating the stadium. But these little white UFOs seemed so excited, so super charged. The did loops in groups right on live TV. It was amazing, no one noticed but me until I reported it, and it got on CNN. These little white UFOs...are alive. If you want to catch more of them, record on a tripod during a lighting storm. Or during the day with you have blue cloud background...since they are white, it makes it easier.

Date of sighting: April 19, 2009, but reported today Location of sighting: Cyprus, Europe Source: MUFON #81145 This UFO was seen over the island nation of Cyprus back in 2009, but was reported today. The island has a total population of about 1.3 million people and is totally surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. UFOs are often seen over the ocean and its been long believed that if aliens wanted to hide a base on Earth, under the ocean was the logical decision. At the moment, the only alien base I know of in the Mediterranean is below Rocca Pia, Italy...and belongs to the W56. So it sounds like there are several bases in the Mediterranean. Scott C. Picture was taken for the purpose of mountain and moon combination scenery. The object could only be realised right after shooted in LCD display. Several shootings made before this photo but no other objects were found in previous shootings.
The sounds last only milliseconds but generate as much energy as the Sun in an entire day.
However no one knows what is causing them.
Since March scientists have now heard 16 powerful radio signals – known as fast radio bursts (FRBs) – from space, Sciencealert reports.
Experts only discovered FRBs for the first time in 2007.
But despite discovering nine years ago very little is known about them – even though an estimated 2,000 FRBs fly across the Universe everyday.

It is now believed the outer-galactic FRBs are coming from “an exotic object” such as a neutron star that rotates with such power it emits extremely bright pulses.
Last year UFO expert Nigel Watson said the FRBs could indicate “a vast alien communication network”.
He said: “This extraordinary finding either indicates an as yet unknown or unusual astronomical phenomenon, or it could indicate that this is a vast alien communication network, and the universe is teeming with intelligent life forms.
"Every unusual signal from outer space encourages us to wonder if it is from an alien civilisation.
"Since this signal seems so elusive and hard to interpret then this should be a candidate for further analysis.
"It would be fantastic if this was an alien signal as the knowledge that we are not alone in this vast universe would have a dramatic impact on our perception of our place in the scheme of things."

The election of Donald Trump was a wake-up call from many people and movements. One of those movements was the call to open the secret government files on UFO visits and alien encounters. The champion of this disclosure was John Podesta, who was Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager – the man who famously said he regretted not doing more to disclose the files when he was chief of staff for President Bill Clinton. Has the movement and disclosure gone down in defeat with Clinton and Podesta? Maybe not.
Stephen Basset, the executive director of the Paradigm Research Group (PRG) and the so-called “only registered UFO and alien disclosure lobbyist” in Washington, claims that President Obama may open the files as one of his last acts before leaving office.
Persons who are directly involved in the management of the extraterrestrial issues want disclosure to take place under President Obama and are ready to work with the SecDef (Secretary of Defence) if approached.
Those “persons” include an anonymous whistle-blower “within the military/intelligence community” who allegedly contacted PRG by email two days after the election to reveal the new openness to declassification of the files by the Obama administration.

Basset says in a press release that this declassification must be driven by both of the Clintons to occur before President-elect Trump’s inauguration – preferably by January 6th.
The Clintons now have a choice to make of historic proportions. Should they immediately take interviews with top journalists and discuss in greater detail what they know about the ET issue and what transpired during the Rockefeller Initiative from 1993-1996, the resulting media storm will force the Pentagon and the White House to reach the necessary understanding allowing Barack Obama to be the Disclosure president. Or should they remain silent and allow the truth embargo to continue on into the next administration.
By opening the files two weeks before Trump’s inauguration, PRG asserts that the nation will have time to absorb the predicted shocking revelations before the transition to a new president – a plan that would allow him to speak about it in his Inaugural Address.
Speak about what? Basset won’t say, but he echoes the style of the incoming president by hinting that it will be huge.

Would this news be big enough to affect the transition of power? Psychic Baba Vanya – who allegedly predicted the election of Barack Obama – also predicted that Obama would be the last president. Will it allow Hillary Clinton to deny Donald Trump the presidency in a way not involving an election or the Electoral College?

PARANORMAL investigators are calling for DNA tests to be carried out on a bizarre corpse that some believe could be the world's first alien dead body on Earth.With its tiny winged frame and reptilian face, the "dead alien" has all the hallmarks of an elaborate hoax, but some alien investigators believe it could be the real deal.
