Rose Mary Glaudel-Depoorter, died Monday, August 20, 2012 at Trinity Rock Island.
Funeral services were at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Coal Valley, where she was a member.
Rose Depoorter was born May 16, 1928 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Julia (Vandenbussche) Depoorter. She married LeRoy Glaudel on September 13, 1947 at Marys Catholic Church, East Moline.
She worked as the office manager for Saelens Beverage for 27 years. She enjoyed reading, listening to music and was avid Chicago Cubs Fan.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 65 years, LeRoy; sons Steven Glaudel and Scott Glaudel, siblings, Margaret Kochuyt (b Depoorter), Victor, IA, Joseph Depoorter, East Moline, Robert (Nancy) Depoorter, Moline, Julia DeBlaey (b Depoorter), Rapids City, Il, and Theresa (Doug) Wilson (b Depoorter), Durant, IA, a brother in law Nyle Wegener, Blue Grass, IA and many nieces and nephews.
