    A very important MEP visited yestoday a FLY-IN of HISTORICAL AIRPLANE acompagniet by a
    Expert of a NATIONAL CAA

    Afterwarts whe had a very long and intresting conversation in witch I was abel to inform hem thad

    there is a urgent need to develop the required EU enviroment to protect the HISTORICAL

    AVIATION ENVIROMENT

    The advise of the NATIONAL EXPERT was very negative since he is promoting thad al the

    HISTORICAL AIRCRAFT schould be made avaible in a MUSEUM in a NON FLYING

    STATUS

    I have strongly contested this vieuw I accept thad there schould be financial means avaible to place a

    number of AIRCRAFT in the MUSEA

    BUT there is urgent need to create the REGULATION to make it possible for SME,NPO or
     
    INDIVIDUAL PERSONS to keep HISTORICAL AIRCRAFT avaible in FLYING STATUS

    The EXPERT claim there are to many accidents with this old fashion aircraft but could not suply any

    concrete figures of the number of accidents in relation to the number of historical aircraft operating in

     the 27 EU memberstates

    CONCLUSION:

     IF    REELECTED   ????? the MEP is going to propose the STOA to make a STUDY on the activity of the HISTORICAL AIRCRAFT in the 27 EU memberstates

    VISITING the USA, CANADA and AUSTRALIA to colect aditional information

    He wil keep regular contacts on a personnel level
