Concerninh the MIDAIR COLISSION on 08 Agust around 1200 hour in NEWYORK in the USA

A colega pilot from AOPA who fly in this region confirmed thad there is no ATC in this airpsace and
it is a area used by many low altitude VFR operators
This means the SAFETY and SEPARATION is maintained by the VISUAL LOOK OUT of the
pilots
In this type of airspace each pilot has to be vigilant and aply the priority rules and take the
regulated aplications to avoud collision between other aircraft and maintain a safe distance from a
other aircraft visualy
LOOK OUT is VITAL
Apaerently the pilot of the PIPER PA32 dit not maintain a safe distance from the helicopter but
this has to be evaluated by the investigation by the NTSB
LOOK OUT is one of the vital procedure each student pilot is been indoctrinated and by each
BIENAL FLIGHT CHECK reevaluated by the FI
