In the past I have experienced to have FOREIGN SUBSTANCES in the TURBINE
1)- During a operational flight in GERMANY detected I the START of a FOREST FIRE and reported
this to the ATC via the R/T whoa asked me to stay overhead and assist the FIRE SERVICES
The fire developed very fast and I stayed about one hour overhead and flow in to yhe forestfire cluod
Afterwarts I landed on a Military ba sse and the maintenance DUTY CREW located ASHES in my
turbine and the cleaned the turbine before my next flight
2)- During a NATO EXERCISE with the DURCH MAINIERS dit I spent duren a week flijng over
the NORTH SEE!!
Afterwarts returning to the hOME BASE the maintenance chowed me that the turbine had been
contaminated with SALT and had to be cleaned
In both cases dit I NOT NOTICE any abnormal temperature of the TURBINE
