A woman found dead near a Lincolnshire nature reserve died of hypothermia, an inquest heard.
Petra Ross, who was born in Inverness, went missing on 19 January and her body was discovered near Gibraltar Point in Skegness two days later.
An inquest into the death of the 23-year-old was opened and adjourned on Monday until 22 July. A murder inquiry by police is ongoing.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and bailed.
Lincolnshire coroner's officer Stuart Partridge said the cause of death was hypothermia.
The body of Ms Ross, who was unemployed and living with her parents in Skegness when she was reported missing, was identified by a fingerprint expert the day after a post-mortem examination on 22 January.
A full inquest is due to be heard by coroner Jayne Wilkes.
According to Ms Ross' social media posts, she was engaged to be married.
