Wales prop Sisilia Tuipulotu will be out for the rest of the season, missing the Women's Six Nations and what remains of the Premiership Women's Rugby (PWR) campaign after having surgery on a hamstring.
The 21-year-old tight-head posted a picture of herself in hospital on social media, saying her season "has come to an early end".
"I'll be back better than before, for my family, friends and most importantly my team-mates," she said.
"Injuries happen for a reason and my focus now is on my rehab and working hard to get back playing in the 2025 World Cup in England."

The Welsh Rugby Union confirmed Tuipulotu's predicament with Wales head coach Sean Lynn saying "she will have the best professional advice and care as she goes through her rehab programme".
Tuipulotu's thigh was heavily strapped during her last outing, a 70-minute performance in Gloucester-Hartpury's 33-31 win over Trailfinders on 18 January.
The reigning PWR champions have since secured their place in the play-offs, where they will be looking to win three titles in a row.
Tuipulotu's injury is a double blow for Lynn, also her Gloucester-Hartpury boss, who will take over with Wales ahead of the Six Nations.
Wales kick-off their campaign against Scotland in Edinburgh on Saturday, 22 March.
