A motorist drove at a traffic warden after being issued with a ticket, police have said.

The man was issued with an out of court resolution following the incident on Monday, 29 April.

Police and traffic wardens were targeting an area of Swindon plagued by rogue parkers when the drama unfolded.

Broadgreen had seen a spike in 'unsafe parking' and vehicles blocking the road.

A spokesperson for Swindon Central South Police said: "One vehicle was impounded after having been warned previously about obstructing the highway.

"Ten other vehicles were issued with warnings for obstruction.

"16 parking tickets were issued and one fixed penalty notice for parking on zig-zags.

"One male was issued an out of court resolution for driving towards enforcement officer after receiving a parking ticket.
