Woman spends £15k freezing eggs for future baby

An endometriosis patient spent her house deposit freezing her eggs so she can have children in future.

Sophie Richards, from Carmarthen, spent the cash because her condition was not covered by NHS fertility support.

In total - including expenses like travel, blood tests and scans - it cost her £15,000.

The 27-year-old said she was "keeping my fingers crossed" treatment would be available on the NHS in future.
