Yousaf must 'face consequences' of breach of trust - Lorna Slater

Scottish Greens co-leader Lorna Slater has reaffirmed that her party will stand against Humza Yousaf in an upcoming vote of confidence in his leadership.

"Humza Yousaf has lost our confidence and lost out trust," the Lothian MSP told BBC Scotland's The Sunday Show.

Ms Slater confirmed that as long as Humza Yousaf remains in charge of the SNP, the party will not have the support of the Greens.

The first minister's dissolution of the SNP-Greens power sharing deal, known as the Bute House Agreement, was a "spectacular breach of trust" for which Mr Yousaf "needs to face the consequences" said Ms Slater.
