Lottery: A £1m ticket remains unclaimed in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Lottery players are being urged to check their old tickets due to a £1m winning prize remaining unclaimed for two weeks.

The National Lottery said the winning ticket for the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker draw on 16 April was purchased in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The winner has until 13 October to claim their prize.

"It's time to look everywhere," said Andy Carter, of the National Lottery.

The unclaimed ticket has the code XMXB 32530.

Mr Carter suggested checking "in the pockets of clothes you might have been wearing at the time, bags, in the car, wallets and purses and in that sideboard or drawer where we all tend to put bits and pieces".

He said: "Do you live or work in this area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through?"

"We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and pay out their life-changing prize," he added.
