Victoria: Woman hit by double-decker bus

The crash happened at about 11:14 BST outside Victoria Station
A woman is in a life-threatening condition after she was hit by a double-decker bus outside a central London station, police said.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called to Terminus Place, outside Victoria Station, at about 11:14 BST.
Paramedics treated the female pedestrian at the scene and she was taken to a "major trauma centre".
The Metropolitan Police said the woman's injuries were life threatening. Road closures are in place.

Transport for London's head of buses, Tom Cunnington, said the incident would have been "distressing" for everyone involved.
"We have support available for those affected," he said.
"We are working closely with the police and Transport UK, the operator, to establish what happened."
A spokesperson for LAS said ambulance crews and an incident response officer were sent to the scene, and a London Air Ambulance trauma team attended by car.
This is the third recent serious crash involving a bus and pedestrian outside Victoria Station.
Catherine Finnegan, 56, died after she was hit by a double-decker bus in January, and in August 2021, Melissa Burr, 32, was killed after a bus driver mistakenly pressed the accelerator pedal rather than the brake.
