Ballymena: Man rescued from burning vehicle after crash

A man has been rescued from a burning vehicle after a road collision in County Antrim.

The three-vehicle crash happened in Ballymena on Sunday evening.

The man was rescued "due to the quick actions of an off-duty firefighter", the Northern Ireland Fire Service (NIFRS) said.

Fire crews from Ballymena station attended the scene on the Larne Road Link.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, Air Ambulance and St John's Ambulance also assisted at the scene, according to NIFRS North.

The man's condition, and the conditions of others involved in the collision, is unknown.
