This document is on the tabel for discution in many meetings at various level and subjects ??

There is urgend need to introduce some information to the CHAIRPERSONS of this meeting since it is not possible to be present at ALL this meetings at the HQ EUROCONTROL , since MANY MISCONCEPTIONS are very strongly circulating in this population on the so called MANY INFRINGEMENTS  witch are not documented  and  not looking at the so MANY AIRSPACE USERS operating in VFR.

Citizens' AGORA on CLIMATE CHANGE

This is taking place in the EP on 12 & 13 JUNE 2008 and the EP asks for citizens' input on this subject, the AGORA debat is taking place with 500 civil society representatifs in vieuw to develop a complete and intensuve programme of parliamentarian work on the subject and contribute to future iniatives.

This is the fist time thad I will not be presents at such a debate and hope thad other persons intrested in GENERAL AVIATION & AERIAL WORK or mainly the needs from ALL the NON CAT AIRSPACE USERS operating in VFR to promote in this very actif AGORA iniatifs !!!

Today I had a long discution with some delegates of organisations representing VFR AIRSPACE USERS:

Ther are very strong differences in how to proceed in the SESAR project!!

1e principe:  WHE SCHOULD NOT PARTICIPATE in vieuw to be abel in a later stadium do a strong oposition in vieuw thad whe where not aware or consulted ??

2e principe   WHE SHOULD BE STRONGLY PRESENT in the SESAR project in vieuw to introduce the requirements for the operations of the VFR AIRSPACE USERS ??

Some clarifications on the variuos questions are in preparation for the VFR operations and I will suply them here ASAP !!

Er bestaan nog andere NAVIGATIE METHODEN zoals ASTRONAVIGATIE die vroeger werdt gebruikt maar waarvan in de principes nooit heb bestudeerd.

 Ik benvooral aktief geweest in de BASISOPLEIDING van PILOTEN en de door mij gebruikte NAVIGATIE was  de ZICHTNAVIGATIE met KAART en KOMPAS  en gebruik maken van wij  TIME, HEADING ,SPEED

 De navigatievlucht wordt vorbereid met de NAVIGATIEKAART en het bereken van de KOERS en de GRONDSNELHEID en de TIJD in functie van de AFSTAND hiervoor maken we gebruik van een circulaire rekenschijf welk we vroeger een computer noemde.

Later heb ik ook op beperkte schaal  INSTRUMENTVLIEGEN en RADIONAVIGATIE gedaan maar mijn grootste ervaring in MILITAIR en BURGER omgeving was ZICHTNAVIGATIE voor VFR vliegende PILOTEN met EENMOTORIGE LICHTE VLIEGTUIGEN, ZWEEFVLIEGERS en HELICOPTERS

Wat betrefdt zich verplaatsen met een vliegtuig van A naar B bestaan er twee duidelijk verschilenden methoden van vliegen namelijk:

 VFR  op zicht vliegen gebruik makende van een NAVIEGATIE KAART , KOMPAS en een berekende vlucht op zicht zonder hulpmiddelen buiten het vliegtuig.

 Dit was de initiele manier om zicht te verplaatsen.

 IFR is vliegen op INSTRUMENTEN en men verplaatst zich door gebruik te maken van RADIONAVIGATIE zijnde ELECTRONISCHE bakens op de grond welk initeel  NDB waren en later VOR en DME en dus zonder dat men visueel op een kaart zijn plaats ken bepalen.

Heden doet de SATELIETNAVIGATIE met gebruik van de GPS ( USA)en in de toekomst ook GALILEO( EU) zijn intrede met het gevolg dat men in rechte lijn ( theoretisch) zig kan verplaatsen zonder gebruik te maken van de vroeger vermelde bakens op de grond.


Bij het gebruik van de bakens volgt men wat men noemt LUCHTWEGEN zijnde een bepaald luchtruim die men kan vergelijken met een buis van een baken naar een ander baken en vermeld op de RADIONAVOGATIE KAARTEN welk men gebruikt in IFR.

Dit is een zeer vereenvoudigde uitleg over de manier van zich te verplaatsen in de lucht in functie van enkele gestelde vragen

Acording the present regulation in the dutch AIP is it mandatory to file in your ATC FLIGHT PLAN the presence of a SSR MODE "S"

The utulisation of of SSR mode A/C is no more allowed.

However if you fly below 1200 ft MSL no SSR mode "S" is required.

Some PILOTS flying in to some DUTCH " GREEN AIRFIELDS" report thad there is no need to have a SSR mode "S" for flying in the DUTCH AIRSPACE.

 I ame no waiting some clarifications !!!

ik heb nu begrepen dat deze vragen voortkomen uit een titel welk is verschenen de " DE ZONDAG" van 08 JUNI 2008  editie ANTWERPEN in het deel MAGAZINE

Wat betreft dit artikel is het juist dat heden in EUROPA (en ook andere delen van de wereldvbol) de vliegtuigen nog steeds verplicht zijn om over bepaalde punten te vliegen opgebied van navigatie, zodat zij niet rechtstreeks in een rechte lijn vliegen van hun plaats van vertrek naar hun bestemming.

Persoonlijk ben ik in de LUCHTVAART aktief sedert 1954 en sedert 1980 ben ik aktief als LOBBYIST voor GENERAL AVIATION  ( en AERIAL WORK) zoals bepaald door ICAO betrokken bij EUROCONTROL en de EU INTELLINGEN in de problemen van de INTERNATIONALE LUCHTVAART ontwikkeling in EUROPA.

Het artikel van SEBASTIAAN BELAUX is zeer goed en ook de tussenkomsten van bepaalde MEP's.......... MAAR ???

LUCHTVAART is een INTERNATIONAAL gebeuren maar elk land(192) zijn SOUVEREINE STATEN welk elk verantwoordelijk zijn voor het LUCHTVERKEER in hun eigen NATIONAAL LUCHTRUIM.
Elke staat is verantwoordelijk voor de BEVEILIGING ( SECURITY) in zijn eigen LUCHTRUIM en heeft daarvoor zijn eigen MILITAIRE STRIJDKRACHTEN welk ter LAND,ZEE en LUCHT hun verandwoordelijkheid hebben.

Gevolg bestaat wat de EU betreft uit 27 individuele luchtruimen en indien men de ICAO-EUR region beschouwd 54 blokken luchtruim??

Wat de EU betreft de EU met zijn 27 lidstaten zijn er daarom een 50 tal verschillende ATC organisaties welk elk bevoegd zijn in hun deel van hun luchtruim.
Reeds in de jaren 60 werdt er een poging gemaakt dat te vereenvoudigen door het oprichten van EUROCONTROL UAC voor het hogere luchtruim boven FL250 ( een 8000 meter)zie WWW.EUROCONTROL.INT
