ONGEVALLEN in DE LUCHTVAART
Heden zien wij tijdens het W.E een aantal ongevallen verschijnen in de media.
RUSLAND/MOSKOU MIDAIR tussen twee jachtvliegtuigen tijdens voorbereiding van een AIRSCHOW
SCHAFFEN/DIEST ongeval met een HISTORISCH VLIEGTUIG bij de landing
KIEWIT/HASSELT ongeval met een JODEL/AMBASADEUR bij de landing
Gelieve nota te nemen dat heden in AUGUSTUS met het mooie weder er vele duizende vluchten worden uitgevoerd met lichte vliegtuigen ???

HISTORISCHE VLIEGTUIGEN
Een der problemen of moet ik zeggen eigenaardigheden welk gisteren tijdens mijn bezoek aan de OLD-TIMER FLY-IN te SCHAFFEN/DIEST aan mijn aandacht werd gebracht betrefd het feit dat de HISTORISCHE VLIEGTUIGEN welk worden ingeschreven in het BELGISCHE LUCHTVAARTREGISTER bekomen enkel een LUCHTVAARTPAS/LAISSER PASSER welk hen enkel toelaat in BELGIE te vliegen.
Houders van HISTORISCHE VLIEGTUIGEN ingeschreven in de andere EU LIDSTATEN krijgen schijnbaar een LUCHTWAARDIGHEIDSBEWIJS dat hen toelaat in de 27 EU LIDSTATEN te vliegen mits het indienen van een ATC FLICHTPLAN !!!
Dit heeft voor gevolg dat BELGISCHE EIGENAAR niet meer kunnen deelnemen aan FLY-IN in de andere EU LIDSTATEN
Wie kan mij deze eigenaardige toestand uitleggen ..........???????

PROBLEEMTJE
Een aantal SENIOREN beklagen zich via hun E-MAILTJES dat er op mijn BLOG veel Engels staat.
Indien zij iets wensen op te zoeken dan moeten ze gewoon in het nederlands een trefwoord in typen in het zoekvenster aan de rechterzijde en dan komen de betreffende artikels beschikbaar

ADVISE TO PILOTS
On many ocasions some PILOTS or AIRCRAFT OWNERS are trying to obtain information via HQ EUROCONTROL in BRUSSELS

But sothime there is a need for clarifications and for this I advise them to contact a ex ciolega pilot who is active in THE USERS CEL

SEE and AVOID tijdens VFR operations
This morning a numer of intresting conversations on the "SEE AND AVOID" procedure during VFR OPERATIONS.
In function of the development of the FAB frum GROUND up in ' KLASS "G" AIRSPACE
There is strong intention to have very strong protection for the CAT and also for the COMMERCIAL AERIAL WORK in the development of the EU-SES AIRSPACE
I have circulated a large amount of the AOPA-USA ASF brochure COLLISION AVOIDANCE STRATEGIES and TACTICS
Some expert have advised to EUROCONTROL AGENCY to circulate the content of this brochure via the SAFETY MAILINGS of SKYBRARY highlights
Be aware this brochure is recommended reading for ALL PILOTS and avaible for free via: WWW.ASF.ORG
Also some information was suplied about the use of the FLARM in the GENERAL AVIATION OPERATIONS

CAUTION
Presently some experts are offering their services to increase the SAFETY for VFR FLIGHTS in UNMANAGERD AIRSPACE. in function of the MIDAIRCOLLISION in NEWYORK (USA)
Also the are trying to make a list of a number of MIDAIR COLISIONS in EUROPE but they are also taking in consideration ACCIDENTS in MANAGED AIRSPACE under ATC CONTROL
Also do they have the support of the UAS operators who are trying to evaluate the utulisation of the UAV in UNMANAGED AIRSPACE for AERIAL WORK OPERATIONS in VFR.
I sugest any information be transmitted to IAOPA-EUR.

REACTIES over de MIDAIRCOLISSION RISK
In function of the FATAL ACCIDENT in NEWYORK at the HUDSON river in VFR have I received about 200 E-mails on witch I have reacted to many of them directly however it is not possible to go in to details.
A number of are worying thad such a accident could also happen in our ICAO-EUR region due to the many AIRCRAFT in certain AREA'S
