Situation in 1941. 68 German soldiers were on the Ehrenfriedhof. In october 1942 Mr. Cordier and Ms. Holvoet-Boddin had to sell a part of their property to enlarge the Ehrenfriedhof. All German soldiers fallen in the surroundings of de Schelde in 1940
(see also my pages of the British soldiers on a lot of  graveyards around de Schelde)
were brought together in Ronse. (478 names)
In august 1948 a number of 513 German soldiers were taken to the German cementery in Lommel by the Service Identification and Cementeries of the Ministry  Department of Home Affaires

At this place the Ehrenfriedhof was situated

The graves had no cross , only a freestone picket . The grave could be identified by the number on the picket.
The number on the picket of Hans Friedrich TROLL was  no.211

This is the last freestone picket  ( on the old cimentery in Ronse  )the graves of the German soldiers were identified

sometimes the unit and the rank of the German soldiers that were in the Ehrenfriedhof in Ronse

at this place , the 30 DIV (Hans Friedrich TROLL ) had to cross the river de SCHELDE
under fire in 1940 . Culd be the place Hans Friederich Troll felt.
