Today's Positive Thought:

You will reach your goal by staying in the moment.

Today's Positive Affirmation:

I keep my attention focused in the present moment, as I move steadily and easily towards my goals.

Today's Positive Visualization:

I take an even breath and tune into the present moment.  I listen to the sounds around me and allow myself to sense the energy that surrounds me. As I take a gentle breath, I realize that the process of being present in the moment is the key to my success. My mind is becoming focused & clear and my imagination & creativity are awakened.  I affirm that my heart is opening to new possibilities and I feel secure with no worry or fear.  I know I can realize my hopes & dreams and attain my goals in life as I learn to stay present in the moment.  I give thanks for the power of God that exists in every moment.  I combine these images with the feelings of joy and let them go, knowing that they will create the good things I am visualizing and thinking.

Hold the reins lightly

Hold the reins lightly in your hand today.  Feel the energy beneath you, full of freedom.  Guide the energy in the direction you wish to head very lightly, just a slight pull on the reins this way or that, enough to influence the direction but not enough to slow the flow of energy that you ride, not enough to dampen the spirit that carries you.

And when you feel you have mounted a highly energetic flow, then be careful not to try to take control, pulling and pushing, letting your enthusiasm for the suddenly surge of power make you blind to the true direction of the free flow.

When you say, "Ah, at last this is it, this is what I am meant to do," and grab on to the reins with both hands, digging in your heels and using every ounce of your strength and determination to control the flow, your efforts have the effect of slowing the energy down, possibly even stopping it dead in its tracks.  Or you may manage to turn it, but in a direction that runs contrary to its nature.

Ride easily and smoothly, keeping pace with the energy you are upon.  Influence it gently.  Encourage it with love.  Feel its power surging beneath you.  Let the wind blow through your hair as you feel the freedom of allowing life to be as it is.

And know too that there is no "at last this is it."  Every moment is "it."  Every moment is where you are meant to be.  There is no final destination you are to reach where everything will be done, where no challenges will arise, where you are happy at last.  Your happiness is a gift you give yourself each moment of every day, and it lies within the moment, deep in its center, as you allow life to carry you with grace and ease.

Yes, this is it.  This is the perfect moment you have been seeking.  Right now.  This is it.  Ride in joy.  Ride in power.  Ride in freedom.  This is indeed it.

                                  Here is a little prayer for today

I take pleasure and joy in each moment as it flows, allowing it to be as it is and allowing myself to be easy and light within it.

I feel the perfection of each moment as it passes, harmonious and glowing.

I am peace.  I am love.  I am flowing, easy power.  I am.
