Vincent van Gogh krijgt zijn eigen glossy magazine
De Nederlandse kunstenaar Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) krijgt zijn eigen glossy. Vrijdag verschijnt het magazine 'Vincent', een tijdschrift over "bevlogenheid, talent en rebellie geïnspireerd op en door de kunstenaar". De voorlopig eenmalige uitgave komt uit ter gelegenheid van het 125e sterfjaar van Van Gogh. In het blad vertellen vijf willekeurige Van Goghs en achterneef Willem van Gogh hoe het is om 'Van Gogh' als achternaam te hebben. Ook wordt er aandacht besteed aan Vincents afgesneden oor en vertelt Hollywoodster Johnny Depp dat Van Gogh zijn favoriete outsider is. Het magazine telt 92 pagina's, verschijnt in een oplage van 140.000 exemplaren en kost 9,95 euro.
Ook andere uitgevers grijpen de dood van de kunstschilder 125 jaar geleden aan voor speciale boeken. Onlangs verscheen 'Sammie en Nele bij Van Gogh', een voorleesboek op rijm voor kleine kinderen.
In Nederland en België worden talloze exposities gewijd aan de beroemde kunstenaar. (br.hln)
