Allochtonen gooien student op metrosporen: 28 serieuze tips





De politie heeft een dertigtal serieuze tips ontvangen over de vreselijke agressie die plaatsvond in de Brusselse metro. Op nieuwjaarsnacht raakte een Bulgaarse student zwaargewond nadat een groepje allochtone jongeren hem over de balustrade gooide. De ongelukkige, die op de sporen van het station Porte de Namur terecht kwam, brak bij die val zijn nekwervels en is blijvend invalide.

De beelden werden op 25 maart voor het eerst getoond op RTL-TVi, maar sinds dit weekend deed het filmpje ook flink de ronde op internet. "Sinds vrijdag kregen we 28 serieuze tips", aldus commissaris Eric Van Poucke. "In dat cijfer zitten enkel oproepen met concrete informatie verrekend. Mensen die het nummer (0800/91.119; nvdr) bellen om hun medeleven te betuigen of om racistisch uit de hoek te komen, tellen we niet mee. Speurders gaan de tips nu één voor één onderzoeken." (br.hln)
