Last night we could admire fireworks in the street ! Although I find it dangerous, so above the roofs...it was great to see ! Just on top of our apartment ! It was all white ! and big ! Many people stood outside their houses, watching, what the neighbours were doing !
The New year has begone ! It's almost unbelievable, that this year went on so fast !...I hope that everyone's dreams may come through and that you live in good health !
Not too many problems, financially then, or health, and you all can enjoy life, cause it is so short....
Every year we take a break in a Center Parc, but this year it was Valkenburg. Theo nly thing I missed there was the market dome, a dome with a lot of shops inside, nice and warm area, and also the coffeshops and restaurants, bakery...
Next year in February we are in Lommel, in that Park, for another midweek, then I want to float. Floating is laying in hot water, where you can float on sold water...during one hour, in the meantime listening at relaxing music, in half dark light and nothing but the sound of birds....in the cd... I am always looking forxard to that period, and maybe it is still Winter landscape there..we'll see.
First of March we visit the Disney on Ice show in Antwerp. I saw already Holiday on Ice and I liked it a lot ! First of April we go at the new concert of IL DIVO ! also in Antwerp and then by the end of May, we fly off to Spain again, for our yearly holiday. So we have a lot to look forward too !
Our trip to Valkenburg was great ! Although the weather wasn't that good, we enjoyed our staying overthere a lot ! This time we rented a complete house, with two floors, each bedroom had its own bathroom, included a sauna and suntanbank...the furniture was brand new, and it had a stove also, so we had it very cosy every evening, while the stove was burning..inside the wooden bricks of course, not the stove...hohoho! Because of the bad weather we couldn't make many walkings, but on the park we did, and we brought a visit at the centre of the small village, with all its small shops of souvenirs, restaurants and cafes and other things to see. There was also a fairytale domain, including a watermill fountain, and a casino, a covered swimmingpool, for the guests of the park! Included I will show you some photos of where we were. Next week we are visiting a Christmas market in Holland ! It's the first time I visit that place ! I heard from others it is very nice there, the market has place in caves...with ornaments for Christmastime !
I hope it'll snow, then the sphere is special...walking in the snow, sitting in front of the stove, drinking hot coco....like in a movie..snow is falling from the sky, while we sit inside the house, nice and cosy and warm...watching TV, listening to good music...
Fantasy is everything for us....We can dream about lots of things....without fantasy life is boring !!
Every year we are surpised that the time is flying so quickly...Allmost Christmastime again... Begin November, I have put up all the Christmashouses again, and begin December then, the tree was put up. I need this time to prepare everything, because to install all these houses, it takes time, I need to hide all the cables, coaxcables from the electricity, so no one sees that, while admiring these decorations...Not an easy job to do, especially not for a lady!! Every year is diffrent, it's never the same way done..
I like this time of year the most, all the decorations, bring a certain cosyness in the house, the lights in the tree, light on the cupboards, frames and not to forget all the figurines that's put next these houses too, and the mountains... When it is evening, I put off the other light, and have only the tree on, and the little houses ! I love it !!
It stays there till end of January, then every item goes back into their boxes !
Like last year we went back to Javea, at the Costa Blanca. We really enjoy it there, the place is not too touristic and people still speak the language ! It's about 40 km from Benidorm...
Although I won my flightfear, I still felt unhappy about it, I had to take a second pill for the heart during the night, and that one made me feel a bit weard, so instead of feeling ok, it was just the opposite. So, I thought, let's do it without the pill and I try to feel better, instead I do my relaxation, and think about something else ! It stay a hard thing to do for me...But I try my best !
Wa arrived in Spain, and the weather was nice, not too hot, but good, clouds were in the sky, but by the time we got our car, the sun was looking through the clouds and it felt nice !! After one hour drive, we arrived in the place, where we got to the local firme, where they gave us our key for the house ! Afterwards we stopped at a local supermarket to get us some food for the first hours and hup we went to the house ! It was okay, not so big as the one we had last year, but the area was quite...and not too much people either !!
So the holiday could start. We unpacked the suitcases and then we sit down at the pool and enjoyed our staying ! The next morning the gardener came by, to clean up the garden, and then we had it all to ourselves... We drove to Cabo La Nao to watch the creek and take some beautiful pictures from the area. Also we drove at a small private beach, where you could take a tapa or lay on the stones and walk up the stairs to view the lighthouse abd take some pictures of the sea below. When you looked up, there you could see beautiful villas, hanging over de cliff...a fantastic view...
Next year we go back there, and then we have a bigger house, because my niece is coming with us for a whole week ! I hope she'll enjoy it !
