SKS Skûtsjesilen wordt ieder jaar in de bouwvakvakantie in Frysland gehouden. De skûtsjes strijden in 11 wedstijden met 14 skûtsjes om het kampioenschap.De foto is gemaakt op de Veenhoop waar op 29 juli de wedstrijd was.

Trostomaatjes. Deze beginnen, nu door het zomerse weersomstandigheden, rood te worden. Als de tros geheel rood is, zal deze worden geoogst. Deze tomaat staat buiten in een bloempot van 40 cm rond. Op deze manier verbouw ik jaarlijks onze snoeptomaatjes. Het is een mooi en heerlijk, jaarlijks terug kerende, zomerse beeld.

Gisteren een dag boottocht gemaakt over de maasvlakte. Daar stonden deze dames met elkaar te praten met op de achtergrond het schip begonnen aan de overtocht naar Engeland.
