On the dawn of 6th June 1944 thousands of men aboard ships of the Allied Invasion Fleet prepared to land on French soil.  After months of training soldiers went ashore unsure of their fate.
We cannot even begin to imagine the horrors they would confront and what would have been going through their minds at this time.  This blog is in remembrance to all those men who fought to liberate Europe from the jaws of Nazi tyranny.  Without them the world today would be a very different place indeed.
