Sinds 1 juni (toevallig begint dan ook de astronomische zomer) hebben we "calima" in Tenerife. Dan stijgen de temperaturen tot flink boven de 30º en hangt er veel stofzand afkomstig van de Sahara in de lucht.
Gewoonlijk kennen we dit fenomeen "calima" een aantal keren per jaar. Gelukkig duurt het telkens maar een dag of 3 en dan genieten we weer van de normale zalige temperaturen in Tenerife.
