die in mijn buikje zat
Toen je kwam zag ik al gauw
die grote blauwe ogen van jouw
Ze straalden al meteen goedheid en warmte uit
je gelaatstrekken stonden kordaat maar je kreeg nog niets geuit
Voor jou werd het leven als een feest
schaterlachen doe je het meest

dit komt je ten goede voor je volgende levensstappen
Je hebt er veel door geleerd
maar ziet wel niet vlug iets verkeerd
Nu ben je 26 en nog steeds even goed en zacht
hulpvaardig voor iedereen,het is een pracht
Als een sprankelende parel is je levenslust
op tijd en stond eens dansen is voor jou geen must
Je bent vol van vertrouwen
hopelijk zal het je nooit berouwen
Ik heb je goede eigenschappen steeds bemind en omarmd
nu heb je een man die dit alles voor je verwarmd
Ik hoop dat hij je nooit zal jennen
anders zal hij de verscholen tijgerin in je leren kennen

Aan mijn lieve zoon
Je kwam op de wereld,3 weken te vroeg
maar aan je snuitje zag ik al genoeg
Je donkere ogen zagen me direct
dat gaf een overweldigend effect
Je lag in mijn armen met een blik vol vragen
zoals,waar zouden ze me nu heen dragen?
Ons bed werd naar onze kamer gebracht door de gangen
'twas of je vroeg,wat gaan ze nu met me aanvangen?
Ik streelde beschermend je hoofdje
toen wist je,het wordt hier geen zootje
Je groeide op en al vlug stelde IK me vragen
zoals,hoe kan ik al dit kattekwaad dragen?
Ik noemde je de brave deugniet
je had altijd wel IETS in het verschiet
Steeds moest je de clown uithangen
de leerkrachten konden zich soms wel verhangen
Maar dan zagen ze op je gezicht HET lachje
en dat redde steeds je hachje
Nu ben je 22 en nog steeds ongeduldig
maar ook totaal onschuldig
Er schuilt in jou helemaal geen kwaad
maar volg toch steeds een goede raad
