O GREAT SPIRIT OF ALL INDIANS

All over the world the faces " of living ones are alike
With thenderness they have " come up out of the ground
Look upon your children " that they may face the winds
And walk the good road " to the day of Quiet
Grandfather Great Spirit
Fill us with the light " give us the strenght to understand
And the eyes to See
Teach us to walk the soft Earth
As relatives to all that Live
I " john friend of all Indians "ask You Great Spirit
to bless all the people who read this prayer .

The great Spirit to the Warrior

As quickly as little rabbit feet
the morning glory sun arrives to greet
the red man as he worships in his way
for this he ask the Spirit every day
before I judge my friend o let me wear
his mocassins for two long weeks and share
the path that he would take in wearing them
Then - I shall understand and not condemn
