They say dreams are nothing more
than Whispers of the heart
If this is true I pray to never wake
and have reality start

My dream you can not be
for they have never been so sweet
This heart wishes you to hold
and be its every beat

My Prince, each nite you come
to me in every dream
You offer love and warmth
and calm the lonely night screams

You calm my fears
You fill my every need
When you plant
your precious love seed

Time and distance
can not keep us apart
For God had this planned
from our very start

My every tear
from me you take
If this is but a dream
I don't wanna wake

These eyes

These eyes leave one frozen in time
the sincerity generating
stops all in their life's path
They are so deeply penetrating

These are the eyes
that take dream to reality
They could easlily cause
another heart's fatality

One sees two pools
of love and care
Eyes that penetrate the soul
as they stare

Making one feel bare and naked
in their presence
They reach in to touch
one's very essence

These eyes are they
of devil or angel
They cause a heart to soar
or fall and crumble

All reasoning and caution
go to the wind with demise
When held in captivation
and so lost in these eyes

The Missing Piece

It seems no matter
how close I get
The pieces of my puzzle
just never fit

There is always one
that ends up missing
It seems it is not yet
my time of blessing

This road of life
in which I travel alone
is one that I
have always known

I know my Savior
has special plans for me
Plans that will finally
set this heart free

The love contained
in this heart of mine
will shower upon you
But only in His time

So my search for you
now will cease
Knowing God will send
the missing piece.
