° Desktop:
   gekoppeld met 975/965 Chipset
   Processorbus op 1066Mhz
° Mobiele variant:
   945 Chipset
   Processorbus op 667Mhz
   In 5 varianten

HDTV

HDTV

For old TV (4:3) the resolution is 768x576

HD (16:9) resolution begins at:1280x720

720p (1280x720)

1080i (1920x1080)

1080p (1920x1080) television transmission in this format are not for now

Progressive or Interlaced

For interlaced the odd and even lines are refreshed alternatively

For progressive scan all lines at once are refreshed

Label "HD ready" Logo

must be conform to the next three points:

è Min 720 Horizontal lines and 720p and 1080i at 50 and 60 Hz

è Anolog component Input like Y/PB/PR

è dvi and/or hdmi Input

       with hcdp protection

Loss of 48 Lines

The most screens That are used have resolution of :

1366X768 pixels (this because production cost is less)

The 48 lines who are to much are not used .

DVI / HDMI / HDCP

DVI = Digital Visual Interface

(also used with graphic cards and Monotors)

HDMI = High Definition Multimedia Interface

difference with DVI is that HDMI has also audio transport

DVI and HDMI are with the help of an adapter compatible

HDCP = High Definition digital content protection

(Its a copy protection; ilegal copy is played in lower resolution)

TRUE-HD and HD-Ready Not always a HD-TV !

sometimes we speek about HD-Ready if there is no 1080 lines possible but a LCD-tv with reolution of 1080i and who hold the label true-HD is neither a HD-TV if he has no tuner who can receive hdtv emissions

Extern SATA (eSata)
Uitwendige schijven aansluiten via eSATA

eSata=1500 Mbiz

USB2.0=480 Mbiz

Firewire=800 Mbiz

American cracks code for European satellite Galileo to address free

With the so called Pseudo Random Number (PRN), the satellite can be used free with a  navigation system and that was not the goal. The Global Positioning System (GPS), from the U.S.A is free addressable. The more exact Galileo system must recover the developement costs by asking money to people for the use.

Members of the American Cornell Global Positioning System Laboratorium have cracked the code who was pulished in GPS-World.

Wireless Local Area Network 802.11x:

802.11n goedkeuring verwacht in 2006
