Dit jaar 2011 ben ik begonnen mij aktief uit het
 EU-LUCHTVAART gebeuren terug te trekken
en te genieten van de vrije tijd en aandacht te besteden aan de ANTWERPSE ZOO
waar ik tegenwoordig veel van mijn vrije tijd doorbreng

(   the IAOPA president in 1980)
 
to develop a  united strong   profesional  organisation presence
 
of GENERAL AVIATION  (the at thad time ICAO definition)
  
at the EEC project,  in BRUSSELS  instead of
 
the variuos very wel organised  but individual on
 
VOLUNTARY FREE LANCERS promoting the
 
GENERAL AVIATION intrest , now the new ICAO definition

( now GENERAL AVIATION & AERIAL WORK OPERATIONS )

via the NATIONAL AOPA's based on their own knowledge

and many times  traveling and lodging on their own cost

In 1990 dit I open a ICAO-EUR office at

ANTWERP AIRPORT on a voted  budget to be
 
made avaible from the 36 NATIONAL AOPA's

 I rented a office at EBAW of YOUTH and AVIATION
 
and engaged a first  employer for the secretariat work a expert
 
in the ENGLISCH LANGUAGE

and evaluated the avaiblity of a number profesional experts
 
for the future I obtained very strong support from the

AOPA-USA team.

.........but the 15 AOPA,s  at the EEC  dit not support the

NEW OFFICE by a homogene  input and
 
GUIDING RESOLUTIONS  ,

also the voted fees from a number of  NATIONAL AOPA's

where not transfered, and after six months I had to close the
 
EEC-OFICE


I continued to be almost daily present in the various

EC INSTITUTIONS in   BRUSSELS and occasionaly in

other locations of the futher developing EC,
 
and making input in vieuw of my personnel experience suported

by NATIONAL EXPERTS  who where trying to

impose their  NATIONAL  UK,  GERMAN or FRENCH 

intrest,  without having knowledge of the aproche 

and needs of the other NATIONALITY's

In 2004 I handed over the representation to a team of

FOUR NATIONAL-AOPA  EXPERTS,

who are ocasinaly present in the EU-INSTITUTIONS

A NUMBER of problems

for

GENERAL AVIATION 
&
AERIAL WORK

ARE RESULTING of this
 uncoordinated aproche

APAERENTLY is in the proposed DRAFT on the SCHENGEN CONVENTION
 
again a strong suspection against GENERAL AVIATION as a possible means for traveling

of the CLANDESTINE TRAVELER  inside the EU  since they can land on the
 
many smaller  AIRFIELDS  in the EU  wher ther  is no authority present??

Today I received the information from Eva DEMMERIE the Press officer of
 
DR OTO von ABSBURG

To infirm me thad he has  completly retired from the PUBLIC WORLD  after the death of his wive

Erzherzogin Regina von Osterreich  and request to be no more adressed on any request for support
 
in to the EU project

He was in the past a vital person in my involvement in the Poltical world since 1980 beeing one of

the iniators of the EEC

Gisteren had ik een kort bezoek te EBSH

 Buiten het door ons sedert jaren gekende   aktieve CNVV  had ik ook een korte ontmoeting met

de heer; FRANCK DUBARRY  ex PILOOT en ATCO FRANSZ_E AERONAVALE

en  schijnbaar  ZEER AIRMINDED persoon

Gaat trachten EBSH terug leven in te blazen ook voor het MOTORVLIEGEN

RAAD VAN EUROPA
Opgericht in 1949 en bestaande uit 49 lidstaten, aktief over MENSENRECHTEN,
geen onderdeel van de EU en heb daar slechts enkele malen contacten gehad als LOBBYIST
 
EUROPESE RAAD ook EUROPESE TOP genoemd bestaat uit de 27 REGERINGSLEIDERS met als voorzitter HERMAN VAN ROMPAY behoort tot de EU en heb geen contacten op dit vlak als LOBBYIST

DE RAAD  ook DE RAAD VAN DE MINISTERS of EUROPESE RAAD genoemd en heb geen rechtstreekse contacten als LOBBYIST

COREPER II  de Permanente AMBASADEURS bij de EUROPESE RAAD  en heb geen contacten als LOBBYIST

COREPER I  de permanente experts bij de RAAD voor bepaalde onderwerpen en heb daar REGELMATIG  contacten als LOBBYIST

EP = EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT en ben daar elke maand een aantal dagen aanwezig als LOBBYIST

EC= EUROPEAN COMMISION  heb daar okasioneel kontakten als LOBBYIST nu was vroeger regelmatig te gast als GENERAL AVIATION EXPERT

DG - DIRECTORATE GENERAAL  ben daar regelmatig aanwezig als LOBBYIST

COR = COMMITIE of teh REGIONS was regelmatig aanwezig als LOBBYIST

EESC = EUROPEAN ECONOMIC SOCIAL COMMITIE was regular present als LOBBYIST and als ADVISER to som members on AVIATION subjects

EUROCONTROL  stil regular present as LOBBYIST was in the past regular involved in various groeps as DELEGATE for IAOPA on GENERAL AVIATION & AERIAL WORK OPERATIONS

STOA  Present as ADVISOR on some AERONAUTICAL STUDY'S

Also regular present on HEARINGS from INSTITUTIONS and ORGANISATIONS present at the EU-ARENA

From 1980 til 2004 this was as BENEVOL REPRESENTATION of IAOPA( GLOBAL)
the last years on behave of IAOPA-EUR ( 2000 -2004)   and since 2005 as
 INDIVIDUAL EU-LOBBYIST on a  personel and voluntary level
