REACTION on planned PRIVAT CONVERSATION

A receive a number of Questions concerning the AERO-EXPO 2007 for this I advise to look at:

 I can not reply to all questions who are avaible on the WEB on a individual base.

I ame planning to be on the EXPO -AERO on 9 and 10 JUNE., but still need some confirmation on my traveling and lodging.

 

I participated on Tuesday 15 MAY on the WORKSHOP in HQ EUROCONTROL on the:
WEATHER INFORMATION EXCHANGE MODEL.

I noticed the presence of about 60 persons from the various EU  Aeronautical METEO-SERVICES. and also the  presence of the  WMO,  FAA,  NOAA and the USAF.

I sugest strongly on the organisations representing the NON-CAT-AIRSPACE USERS such as IAOPA, EBAA, EAS to keep a close observation on the development resulting from this workshop because it may have influance on adaptions of the ICAO ANNEXE 3 on METEO for ALL AIRSPACE USERS and also in the future the charges for this services who may be inpossed on the VFR operations in the SESAR project.

As mentioned before the RAeS BRUSSELS BRANCH who is located in BRUSSELS is organising for their members a visit to the facilities of SABCA in BRUSSELS on Tuesday 12th June.

Memberschip fee for RAeS is presently for 2007   10€

The Visit is free for Branch members and for non-members a charge of  5 €  , booking is required via Bernadette.tamo@eurocontrol.int

A number of REGIONAL AIRPORTS have to adapt their IFR RWY with a Overrun according ICAO ANNEXE 14.

OP ZATERDAG 12 MEI 2007 waren wij aanwezig op de SENIORENMEETING georganiseerd door JUTTER?PALUT en JEN in DE VILLA MARITIEM in WENDUINE

 Een zeer aangename nammiddag in een heerlijke omgeving met vele vrienden.

 Wij zijn dan nog twee dagen aan de kust gebleven en hebben tevens een bezoek gebracht aan de nieuw geopende BAKKERSWINKEL in LOMBARDZIJDE DORP nu geopend door KEPPEKEN van DE VROEGE VOGELS op de CHAT.

Was gisteren aanwezig bij de AGM van de RAeS BRUSSELS -BRANCHE  welk plaats vond te BRUSSEL in een der vergaderzalen van HQ EUROCONTROL .

 De AGM werdt besloten met een zeer intresante spreekbeurt van een nog steeds enthousiaste DIRK FRIMOUT over de ruimtevaart en over zijn SPACEFLIGHT als eerste BELGISCHE ASTRONAUT

De RAeS BRUSSELS-BRANCHE organiseert regelmatig zeer intresante EVENTS

 Personen welk belangstellen en betrokken in AEROSPACE zijn steeds welkom als MEMBER of als VISITOR.

TRANS EUROPEAN NETWORK

 Dit is een project voo de harmonisatie van al de vervoermiddelen in de EU lidstaten.
 
 Het begon in 1990 toen de EC nog maar 12 lidstaten telde maar verloopt zeer moeizaam omdat elke lidstaat tracgt enkel zijn eigen vervoerproblemen aan te passen.

In 2002 na de eerste 10 jaar te hebben aangemodert werdt een nieuwe aanpak gedaan  en nu in 2007 wordt er een plan opgemaakt voor de periode 2007-2013  met de bedoeling via een budget van 160 biljoen EURO  een aantal der probleempunten te hebben opgelost.

De Heer KAREL VAN MIERT gaf de meeting een overzicht van de ervaren problemen en ook de te volgen werkwijze om tot resultaten te komen.

Hij wees er ook op dat hij zeer weinig vertrouwen heeft in het gebruik van de PPP (PUBLIC PRIVAT PARTNERSCHIP) gezien de negatieve ervaringen met de CHUNNEL en GALILEO

De Workshop heeft plaats in Brussel op 10:11/12 MEI.

Mijn belangstelling gaat vooral uit naar:
-MALPENSA AIRPORT
-GALILEO
-BAZEL-ANTWERPEN spoorweg
-SEINE-SCHELDE binnenvaart

ook een aantal projecten welk nuttig zijn voor de                                   
LUCHTVAART

 Hij is vooral betrokken nu bij de BRENNER TUNNEL tussen ITALIE en OOSTENRIJK welk volgend jaar moet begonnen worden om klaar te zijn in 2020.

During the workshop there was a strong input about the  future posiblity to have about 200 VLJ flown by singel pilot and without ACAS/TCAS at slower speeds between the big bras of the CAT operations.

In futher evaluation does it apaer that in the present ECAC airspace already about 500 Business jets  are possible operated  by Singel pilot ,without ACAS/TCAS at slower speeds then the CAT

APAERENTLY THIS HAVE NOT GIVEN UNSAFE SITUATIONS

Apaerently the PORTUGEES Gouvernement is planning the relocation of the LISBON AIRPORT to a location to the North side of te city in  mountenais terrain

To my knowledge in the study by the experts of the New Gouvernement came to the same conclusions of earlier study's made by the previous expert under the old regime
that the best location for the new airport was in a area to the south of the Lisbon city in flat terrain

Some contacts with PILOTS,ATCO and OPERATORS are of the same opinion of the EXPERTS who made both study's in the past thad the adequate and safe area is located to the south of the city.

HOWEVER the POLITICAL WORLD is deciding that the new location is going to the northern area.

Since the EC is having  via some funds a finnanciel participation in this project

The selected area wik be a less safe location for the CAT

PILOTS,ATCO and OPERATORS are feeling uneasy with the northern location

SAFETY of the GENERAL PUBLIC here seems to be neglected .

I receive regular E-mails requesting the price for 100LL at certain airports from pilots claiming they are no AOPA member an try to obtain this information from me.

Be aware thad via WWW.IAOPA-EUR.ORG the fuel prices of a number of airports are made avaible and  published via the NATIONAL AOPA.

Vele BELGEN en ook bij de SENIOREN  zijn van de gedachte dat BELGIE en zeker VLAANDEREN geen LUCHTVAARTINDUSTRIE heeft.

Daarom verwijs ik hen de website WWW.FLAG.BE eens op te zoeken en daar te zien dat er in VLAANDEREN wel degelijk een aantal firma's zijn welk zeer aktief betrokken zijn in de LUCHTVAARTINDUSTRIE

Ook zijn er SME welk lichte vliegtuigen bouwen en alsook ULM en VLA

Vor meer info moogt u mij steeds contacteren gezien een klein hoeveelheid van mijn tijd betrokken is voor FLAG en er ook soms aanwezig ben op het bureen nabij de ANTWERPSE LUCHTHAVEN

Tijdens de toelichting van de Commisaris BAREAU en het EP-TRA  op O8 MEI aangaande de LUCHTVAART PASSAGIERS  volgens REGULATION (EC) N° 261/1004 van OJL 46,17.02.2004  welk nu onder revisie is, blijkt dat er van de 750.000.000 reizigers per jaar  in de EU er slechts  19.000 een klacht indienden!!!

Dit is schijnbaar te verwaarloozen maar ,,,,,,,,,het blijkt dat de procedure om een klacht in te dienen veel passagiers afschrikt ??

Daarom ware het nuttig dat personen welk problemen ervaarden in 2005,2006 en 2007 dringend een E-mail sturen naar :
