it shows not the absence of God but the inability of Men, blinded by the passion of life and ignorance, to see Him, Touch Him, smell him, Experience Him....
it also shows mans indefinite and tireless search for the Divine who is PRESENT. who in this world will search for something that is not present??? The very ongoing search of the Human proves by itself that they are in pursuit of the PRESENT and not the Absent.
