Wel je geloofd het nooit maar dit is echt een waar ik ook moeilijk zou kunnen van scheiden.. moeilijk maar.. dit figuur is al zeker 6 jaar oud dus de oilieverf is wel al droog genoeg om onder de kraan te 
 houden als ze stoffig was indien ze niet in een glazen kast zou staan..  Ik zag dat figuur in een boekje en was op slag "verliefd" wat een gezichtje zeg! maar het was een 120mm dus reusachtig in mijn ogen dus toch niet gekocht.. na een paar maand ga ik naar Antwerpen naar "het winkeltje" wat kom ik daar tegen in the rekken. yep.. haar.. doosje open.. doosje dicht.. nog eens.. een kijken naar dat gezichtje.. en.. ja ja.. centen uit en ze was van mij
Ik moet zeggen dat ik ze zéér graag geschilderd heb want doordat er niet veel grote egale stukken te schilderen was was het niet zo erg dat het een 120 mm was.. met Guinevere heb ik mijn eerste gouden medaille gewonnen .. ik was zo fier als een gieter ik vind haar gezicht nog altijd even prachtig als ik naar haar kijk.. een echte koningin in een glazen kast ... (gereserveerd)

Well you'll never believe it but I would have a hard time parting with this one too.. hard but still.. this figurine is about 6 years old so the oil paint is certainly hard enough so you can put the figurine under the faucet if dust was on it because it wasn't in a glass cabinet.. I saw this figurine in a magazine and fell for it like a brick.. what a face!!! but it was a 4.72 inch so HUGE for me so that kept me from buying it.. after a couple of months off I go to "the little shop" in Antwerp and you never guess what I found there.. yep.. her.. box open.. box close.. and another time.. taking a peek at that lovely face.. and.. yes.. yes .. money out of the pocket and she was mine..
I must say that I have really loved painting her as there aren't that many big pieces of uniform color on it so it being 4.72 wasn't all by all that bad.. with Guinevere I won my first gold medal ..  gosh I was so over the moon with it ... I still think she has the most gorgeous face when I look at her sitting there.. a real Queen in a glass cabinet.. (on hold)
