when we value a book they didn't have

more than the Holy Spirit they did have.

om de kracht van Gods woord te zien!

De HEER zegt: Laten we zien wie er in zijn recht staat.
Al zijn je zonden rood als scharlaken, ze worden wit als sneeuw,
al zijn ze rood als purper, ze worden wit als wol.


Nu er een wit sneeuwtapijt ligt spreekt de beeldspraak
van deze tekst me nog meer aan dan anders.

Antwoord mij als ik roep,
God die mij recht doet.
Geef mij ruimte als ik belaagd word,
wees genadig, hoor mijn gebed
